I have a question for anyone that has some familiarity with mosquito dunks to prevent fungus gnats. I have the circular type dunks and wanted to know how much/ how many mosquito dunks should I use. I also just found a gnarly grub thing that ate one of my babies. Also all of my plants are young, like a couple days so keep that in mind when answering about the dunks. @Fairlynew ever used them?

I use the bits these days....but when I could only get the dunks I crushed them up into small pieces with a hammer (inside of a bag...don't breath the dust) and sprinkle a small amount around the top of the soil. They'll last about half way through the life cycle of an auto this way and I never have pest problems. Hope it helps.

lol how much is a small amount you think?

or @912GreenSkell you ever used mosquito dunks?
You can use beneficial nematodes for grubs, as for the dunks, take a puck put it in a bag and smash it with a hammer or something..Spread the dunk liberally over the surface then work it into the top 1-2" of medium and water it in..I use dunks more for fungus gnat larvae when an infestation is not too out of control. You can also add the dunk, say a quarter to a half a puck to a gallon of water
