Yes...the largest one (grey and white) is a Razors Edge pit bull names Ozzy.....the smaller one is a pocket pit (pitbull/jack russel terrier mix) named sage. They are the best two dogs I've ever owned (they are our 4th and 5th pits).

Breed specific legislation is ridiculous when you look at the numbers of people actually bitten by pit bulls.....labs and chihuahua's bite far more people.
We had a couple of deaths of small children here associated with pits hence the ban again because of ignorant owners that thought it was fun to make then aggresive . Dumb as shit in my opinion.

They look like Pitbulls Frank ?? A breed thats been banned in Ontario because of ignorant owners :nono:
I cannot believe we live in a society that gets rid of a species of dog do to a hole owners. There is more little dogs biting people then pitbulls most visits from dog bites are bites to the nose and face from people getting into a little dogs space. But the Newspapers do not sell copies with poodle bites so we never hear about them. That is in Ontario Canada

They look loverly pal I love trawling people's animal pics they always make me smile I can't understand how people mistreat them it makes me mad

It is extremely dumb to train a pit to be aggressive in any way! They are easily trained to do anything you are willing to teach them (within reason)....including fighting and aggression. Pit bulls are not inherently people aggressive, I'm sure we've all heard about them being used as "nanny dogs" to watch the kids when threats of wild animals were an issue. The issue with pit bulls that must be kept in check, is they are EXTREMELY powerful! One bite can do alot of damage....and they CAN be a bit dog aggressive (ours are not...), so for that reason, our dogs are rarely off the leash outside of our yard, not even for a second. That is not to say I don't trust our dogs...they are excellent examples of the breed, and in all honesty, have both been to dog parks with unknown dogs with no issues (except that time Ozzy tried to go swimming with a group of chocolate labs....long story short, he didn't know how to swim, got into trouble about 25 feet out, and hitched a ride on the back of one of the labs to the shore.). Ozzy has been in hospitals, airplanes, restaurants etc. and makes friends every place he goes.

Dogs are awesome mine never fail to make me smile if your having a shit day my elder gsd is nearly 13 and has took over my couch I have to sit in a chair

One of the problems, at least in the states, is that alot of animals get lumped into the "pit bull" group. Half the time when the media reports about a pit bull attacking a human....if you dig into the story a little more, they are not pit bulls. That is not to say pits don't bite people....indeed, it happens. But when the media reports a pit bull mauling, and it turns out to be a completely different breed all together, or a mix, etc....the damage is done. That headline is out there, and you can't take it back with a back page apology. I think that is one issue that gives them bad names...along with massive over-breeding. @Fairlynew is correct....A LOT of dog bite injuries are from smaller dogs, because they are cute and fluffy, and people feel comfortable getting into the face of a small dog. Hell.....I got bit this weekend by a miniature doberman pinscher with an ego problem!!!
