Last year I helped host two concerts. one outdoor, one indoor. I loved the hell out of it. I was born to be a roadie, it just never happened. My sound buddy used me to grip for the outdoor, I was photographer and organizer at the second. Who knows what the future holds, I love changing careers apparently!
I would have loved to been a roadie. I learned a little about mixing sound the more I was exposed. I played once for 5000+ at a catfish festival, but mainly played in backwoods dives for no more than 50 people. It was a lot of fun, cept for a few ex,s causing problems.

Some of the best shows I have ever seen are in tiny little holes in the wall with unknow (to me) musicians that connect with the night. and I love watching little bands blow big bands off the stage. Saw a band named Follow for now open for Pearl Jam and mop the stage with them. I am still despondent because that band imploded. A live electric spark through the crowd for 45 minutes.
