ok so wanted to debut a light i got, which these ladies have been under for the last 3 days now
Twilight Group's Spyder COB LED!
Actual draw reading is at 200w & 1.6 amps at the wall.
Virtually no sound, and no heat. Less heat & quieter than my other California Lightworks lamp.
Feels well constructed, no flimsy parts
This thing is higher up, at about 24" away vs the CLW at 16-18" and has not slowed growth.
I'm using a 120* lens, but you can order them 90, 120, and 140. I got the 120 because w/ 2 units it would create a nice even canopy overlap, and allow the
light to get closer to the canopy top without sacrificing as much the effective throw of the footprint.
Weighs 9.5 lbs, or 4.3 kgs.
I was going to order a custom spectrum, however they are a few months away from that at this time but it helped me sort what I'd like to see in the light nonetheless.
So w/ the spectrum they gave me, I knew they were using a lot of blues so I figure if i don't like how this goes into flower, which we'll see, then they are Super Kickass veg lights! haha
Here it is:
UV380 1PCS
IR730 1PCS
6500K 2PCS
440NM 4PCS
460NM 6PCS
580NM 1PCS
610NM 1PCS
630NM 4PCS
660NM 10PCS
I personally would have added a boatload of red cause autos would love some more of that, but I ain't complainin'!
Let's just say it's intense!
Jason, the rep who helped me out, was very patient, polite, and helpful. Shoutout to him haha!
I am not affiliated w/ the company in any way, just wanted to say.
I have simply just ordered their light, and will be giving it a go to see how it does cause I figure other AFNers would like a look!
Also cause I've heard things about heat and COBs and this company has done very well with making it run cool! Should got a pic of these heatsinks.
To those curious, it cost me $296.00 USD SHIPPED.
