New Grower Red Strawberry Banana

No, they won't get denser, just harder.
Now the most important part comes............the dry and then the cure. You thought it was the grow, huh?
Hopefully you have plans and are ready.
i’m prepared for that :D i think i am, i have couple of jars, small hygrometers and will propably buy those humidity packs to keep rh at 62% or so. it will obviously take time but well, that’d be shame to waste potential of those buds. i’ll dry them in the tent, it will be empty and conditions are perfect for drying :D we’ll see how it goes haha

Friday will be the day :D

Looking good, what's your plan for the dry and cure?

Looking good, what's your plan for the dry and cure?
Thanks bro! Considering i’ve waited that long already and buds are A class for me, i want to get as much out of them as possible, so i’ll dry hang whole plant and dry trim afterwards. More work but i like that manual thingys :D as for curing, i’ll put buds into glass jars with hygrometer inside and aim for 4 weeks of curing. Might get those humidity two way packs as well just to make sure everything is perfect. Patience is blessing, and i’m blessed to have another ounce of good quality buds so hopefully i won’t take anything out of jar before proper curing lmao. I was thinking to wet trim just one plant and see the difference though, but i’m not sure. How’s your buds after wet trim?

I got some of the Boveda 62% humidity packs, but will probably not use them for at least a few weeks after curing. The buds look great and seem to have dried nicely in the paper bag. 12 hours in the jar and the humidity is at 64%. Hoping they stay that way. I would like to be able to wet trim and dry trim to see which I prefer. But I have a rather small place and a young girl, so wet trimming is much cleaner and better for us. But that said, I do like the results.

They look fantastic! I highly recommend getting some grove bags if you can, I just switched from jars and even with bud I'd had jarred for months already the difference has been crazy!

i thought plastic is not the best for curing? maybe just a myth :p those bags looks very handy to be honest and i haven’t bought enough jars yet so i might give it a try. there actually super cheap thanks for letting me know about them :D

@Suki813 Just did some research on those bags, damn i can’t find any negative opinion on them. I’m gonna order some, they have uk distributor. I’m already on the spending spree anyway, does it need to be heat sealed or just the ziplock will do the job? I might get one of these sealers as well lol

These are not like normal plastic! You're still going to want to dry them the about 60%RH (test it in a jar) but once they're the right amount of dry they stay way more stable than the jars and much less terp loss. There is a whole subforum on here for them, and now that I have them I get why, I will never go back to jars lol.

The ziplock works well for me, as I've got a bunch of 1oz bags of different varieties that I dip into regularly. If I had several bags of the same variety I would leave one open and heat seal the rest personally. My only gripe with them is you've got to be careful opening the zip, hubby yanked it open the first time he opened one and it pulled the zip closure off one side of the bag :face:
