heres the bluelab combo metre I use


ph, ppm500 or ppm 700 or ec and temp all in one. ive had it nearly a year and it hasn't even drifted off by 0.1
also still on the first set of batteries, bit pricey at around 180 quid but I got mine from ebay for about 140
good luck with the led hunt im still torn about changing myself

Thanks for that Sang but i think a blue lab ph pen will do me mate.I need a ph probe as well as im going to be para about my medium ph after this.
Im pleased i changed to leds,the pros far outweigh the only con imo which is the initial cost.

Have you heard about kind led lights? They are pricey but They say it doesn't produce heat which you don't really need AC to run.

Hello mini,yes ive heard of and looked at Kind leds but they are out of my price range just now.Ive looked at a lot of leds lately but im leaning towards Hans panels http://www.bonsaihero.com/index.php/ledgrow-led-panel-100-w I can afford one of these now and get another and then another.As i only grow a max of 3 plants at a time i think one of these lights to each plant should work well in my 3x3 tent.A great price and i wont need to get a taller tent as i can have these lights from 4" to 12" above canopy.I will maybe need supplemental cfl lighting for heat in the winter but not a problem.

Ive thought about putting my own cobs together Wile but ive never liked the idea of messing around with electrical things.I keep waiting for my home made supplementary light boards to catch fire.haha.

looks the part red you cant really go wrong with cree's maybe when you get an new panel you will move out the new growers section may be a move to the LED section keep me company ha ha

Wile my friend,if you want me in the led section then thats where i will go.Ive been growing for nearly 5 years now and my apprenticeship is nearly up.
I love growing with led so it would only be natural for me to join you in the led section.Im going to order the light tonight,right now in fact.Catch you in a bit.
