Indoor Recycled grow number 2

Thanks to all of you grow’n gurus for replying. I’m so frustrated. Many years ago in my photo days I did not know any better and hung up to dry and smoked dry garbage and got lucky to get quality bud.

Orange peel added later today to bring up RH.

TheArchitect mentions temp/humidity and using humidifier at the very beginning. Believe I’ll try that too. Chop Friday, hang all of them, wet trim, turn ac to 80+, break out the humidifier again and monitor daily.

Failed to mention something. I cut off a BTS bud from the first one I harvested. Threw it I tupperware and forgot about it until last night. MOIST she was but still had a green taste from me not burping. Two sessions from a single bowl of BTS. The bud was not stored with boveda and no humidifier to tell me RH. Bud was in Tupperware for weeks....no mold.

a lot of our conditions are so different, what is right for one may not be right for the other person.i live in a cold wet place,my trim dry cure process should be a different to someone living in a hot dry place.
whilst you getting lots of opinion and good advice, upto half of it may not suit your conditions.ambient/outside inside temps/humidity.
my drying seems to take 10 days,a cure of 10 days before il seal the lids for the last time and put them away in a dark cupboard.i really dislike smoking anything that hasnt had a 2 month in jar.i think bud gets better with age upto a point, maybe a year 18 months.
if you in a hot place bud dried out in 3 days probably wont have the best flavour.long and slow dry i think is the best way.

i was happy when i just had the white one,now im not so sure.
just to throw something out there.boveda original or main market is cigars.they prefare 57% but even pot smokers, just like clear/cloudy/amber % at harvest some like bud a lil drier some a a lil wetter.
if someone was to say i use 57% or 68% bovedas personal preference, its not for me to say they doing it wrong 62% is perfect :pass:
sorry thats just a stoner ramble i not sure what i just said :dizzy:first of the day im a bit
:pighug:

Totally get you on conditions archie. I’m really not wanting to ruin/over dry my next batch. I must make it a point to do everything I can for a longer dry in better conditions. Sucks having a single spot I can grow/dry.

dude...what I do is 2 stage wet trim......then hang until small buds snap off.........at that point I begin to devour.............:eyebrows::muahaha::muahaha:

...hang til small buds snap. Me likey. Thanks man.

I ruin my next 6 girls the world will here me shout...at myself!!! :-)

Thanks again AFN grow’n gurus. Off to see my daughter get “being smart” award from our national honor society. Damn proud of that girl. Y’all have a good one.

Final update on this journal. What a journey.

Lessons for ME:
*9 is too many girls to handle at one time.
*absolutely LOVE the variety growing this many girls though
*saw no diff in adding extra BE to one of the 24k girls. Got a little under an oz from both
*drying slow is REAL. On 6th day of whole plant hang drying last 6 girls. In jars just last night. Started with high RH and temps for first 24 hours and worked my way down to 75f and 60RH.
*reported ruining my first 3 by over drying. Happy to say that’s not the case. Dryer than I like but still has moisture. All from first run sitting happily at 62% as if this morning.Edit-meaning first 3 I chopped for my second grow.
*sour cracks are made to be pushed hard. They take it all in stride. A little N clawing but they never ever skip a beat.

Note: to me, sour stomper smells like mint chocolate with a touch of sour grapiness. Have yet to smoke her but damn I can’t wait. 24k girls barely drink or eat. They’d go a week or longer between feed/water. It was weird.

Thanks to all you AFN grow’n gurus!!!
Thanks to Mephisto for outstanding genetics!!
Thanks to MegaCrop for simplicity!!

*Results from all 9: 18 quart jars(15 in pic; others to the back left)
*New girls: GWK and SODK..decided against forum stomper for this round. 14 for 14 on popping meph seeds so far.

Gotta like looking at jars full of crop bounty and pictures of a cleaned up grow area with new babies in it already.

How much BE were you using on the 24K? How many plants this grow?

Thanks man. All the jars are overwhelming in a very very good way!!! Press time soon as I save some $.

One 24k - 4gms Mc2.0 + 1 gm BE to gal of water.
Second 24k and others received 5gms MC2.0 throughout.

Only 2 girls this grow. Think I mentioned to you I’d be going with forum stomper too this round. Decided against it and focusing on Ms Kush genetics. :-). So glad my electricity bill will be reduced this round!!...CMH is officially off til our first cold front next fall.

Hope all is well lunarman. MotoGP (motorcycle races) this weekend for my boy and I. Can’t friggn wait!!!

I have all my plants on 5g of MC and 1.25 of BE. They were stalled a bit in flower so I stopped using calmagpro and upped MC and BE and they responded well. So looks like you are doing about the same as well. Good to know someone else is on the same track.

I'm still using one of my 600w HPS to add heat to the tent. Still pretty cold in my area.

Is that track or dirt racing?
