Rebel's Mega Crop / Greenleaf Nutrients CannaZone Test Thread

OK so before I drop these pics I want to note two things... Well one thing mainly... I've figured out my "problem"... As they say Occam's Razor! The simplest answer is usually the solution! As we humans tend to complicate things... Or be a DINGBAT and get shit backwards...

Like my new custom badge??

OK seriously... I've been doing the opposite with my Autos and Photos when it comes to feeding... My thought process was ass backwards. I've been feeding the photos TOO much (as far as DOSES) and the autos NOT ENOUGH.

I've sorted a feeding schedule I'll post shortly but my photos are on point. Matter of fact last feeding was too high at 2 grams per gallon. I've dialed it down to 1.5 grams per gallon and staying on them! Not letting them dry out too much and not over watering. Don't forget, this is my first run with all 3 gallon bags so I am getting dialed into the frequency and heaviness of the bags as well as new nutes. Not giving excuses just noting there's a few new variables in my tent!

Second problem is in the auto tent... The Platinum P300 is so freaking intense it's almost way too much. I hate to say. I've got it literally ZIP TIED to the top of my tent and I have a nearly 7 ft ceiling! I had to shut the veg spectrum off and just leave bloom on and my plants are STILL being fried... So idk if this strapped to the top the tent doesn't work out then I'm gonna have to pull it. The tops of the NQ and BL are getting crispy... Just way too much. So I have to figure out what to do about that.

Meanwhile in the Photo tent. I have the Kind K5 XL1000 dialed in at 65% across all 3 bands and it seems to be just perfect. These girls are a dark velvety green. The flash may take away from that a bit but you can see the slight claw on most of them so trust me when I say they got PLENTY of N! :d5: gearing up to start adding PK to the 11 Roses soon as they are forming little bud heads... Early stages but still prepared. Jedi Kush have been in 12/12 for 3 days. I flipped them at 3 weeks. 11 Roses, Think Fast and Green Poison are at 9 days 12/12.

Jedi Kush 1 - 4

Eleven Roses 1-3 ( I took several pics of [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] to show her incredible luscious growth. I call her "Twin Palms", the mutant who topped herself at the first node)

That's all the photos of the Photos! I'll post the auto pics in a few I need a smoke break!

:d5: :smokeout:

What are you up too in dosage?

Photos are at 1.5 grams per gallon and 1.5grams of Sugar Candy per gallon.

Autos are at 2.5 grams per gallon, 1.5 grams of SC, 1ml of liquid Koolbloom per gallon.

I had given both autos and photos 1ml of CALi MAGic this last feed but not going to next. I don't think they need it... The spotting on the autos are from a few cold nights and not feeding high enough doses of MC.

They look great. Good work

Rebel...sis....Any reason you upped to 1.5g SC during veg? I see most ppl sticking to 1g throughout. Its 0-0-1 so i guess the 0.5g should not matter much. Just curious if you are testing out some theories?

No GOOD reason, no... Lol they were cruising just fine so I will dial them back to 1 gram next feeding.

hi all, nice postings in this threat. We are monitoring closely peoples real world results with AF.

In the future, we are probably going to bump up the MAGNESIUM AMINO ACID CHELATES in Mega Crop, seems like a few people are getting "CalMag" issues which seems to just be Mag issues. This may be because a lot of people are using heavy Coco medium, or strains are heavy Mag feeders, or for whatever reason we think increasing Mag will be a good decision.

Also, we are closely monitoring the "Nitrogen" level feedback, if some people are saying the N is too high? MC can use used for veg and flowering/budding, however it seems like Auto's spend a higher % of their life in flower/budding phase which may mean the N is possible too high?

As a solution if you have this problem, you can lower the MC dosage (to keep the N down), and supplement with a PK/K boost like Bud Explosion or Sweet Candy (both of those products have 0 Nitrogen and will boost K or PK). We can possibly up the PK and lower the N in Mega Crop for the future, we are keeping an eye on this if its needed. If we did do this, then the N would be lower, and it would be more of a dedicated bloom formula (which I think a lot of people around here would like)! In this case then we would ask people using it in veg phase to supplement with a separate product to boost Nitrogen.

We really want MEGA CROP to be a 1 part Cannabis formula, but some people may find they are getting better result with an extra PK/K booster for Auto's. So as mentioned we can adjust formula in the future to help with this as needed. Other nutrient companies like to split up products into 5-10 different products because they can easily pass the illusion of charging you a higher overall cost because you are under the impression that you are getting 5-10 different things. We do not want to do this, actually logistically speaking and for our shipping/packaging operation, its much much easier to just have as few products as possible to simplify sending orders :) Once you have 5 different products with 5 different sizes each, that brings your different SKU products to 25, which makes shipping/order fulfillment much more complicated. So obviously there is a price increase needed to account for having more products because of the more complicated inventory handling. Eventually we would like to make things as simple as possible, maybe having MEGA CROP and 1-2 other products max which are all optional.
With separate products, a sugar/carbohydrate product will always have to be separate dedicated formula, because of the fermentation that can happen and that carbohydrate products are not suited to every growing type.
