Another massive update! It's getting busy in there! Lots of stuff going on... I'm gonna post the pics and then I'm going to tell you all how my process of breeding and selection. Give you an insight on how and why I do what I do to get the desired results.

Sugarbaker Group 1 @ 27 days (4 weeks tomorrow - 8th) we got a total of 5 females and 2 males out of this group. 1st male was culled in favor of the 2nd male. I know I stated this already just recapping for those who haven't had the time to get caught up. Here's the first 5 females from that group.

Nice job on your grow Reb. Great to see you kicking ass with the new lights. Hope you and Lady Reb are doing good my friend. Sending my love to you both.

JayP! How's that neck doing brother?! Thanks for stopping by! We send our love! Thank you!!

do you have snapping turtles in your neighborhood?

Oh yes!!! We even have them up in NY! In Kentucky they call em Chargers! Matter of fact... Few months back.. Just minutes apart I moved a 4 foot female black snake off the bottom of our driveway to avoid running her over... Then just after that we turned down the road and bout 100 yards up walking along side the road was a baby snapper. I have pics of them both! I'll post next update!

Thank you TA!! I really appreciate it!!

Well that sucks!!! Sorry to hear that!

Our family room window is like our "fish bowl" people get fish to watch them and relax.. We have all kinds of wildlife out back... I love to sit here and smoke and watch the Turkeys, Birds, squirrels, deer, etc... And occasionally you get pleasant surprise walk by... Today it was the turtle.
Cool, I never see the wildlife in my native, like squirrel, deer.

Collect it and pollinate!

To elaborate... I pollinate the same spots over a 3-4 night span. To make sure they take the pollen successfully. And typically within 24-48 hrs I will see the pistol turn a dark color, shrivel up and recede back into the calyx. Within a week or so I will see the seeds starting to form. I will document all this so y'all can see! It's really cool and fascinating!
A little pollen goes a long way but sometimes I like to go a bit overboard to insure a good seed stock and that the next generation is stable and viable.

Same old thread.
I want to learn to grow photos. So started another thread at PotPros. http://www.potpros.net/forums/threa...n-landrace-and-sensi-star.55205/#post-1199846

I have Nigerian Landrace and Sensi Star in water now. Threw in a FB Stardawg also, as I have a free spot in my new capillary system in my new 4x4 ft tent. Talked to my brother in law last night. He will construct a frame for me, so I can do LST on plants in plant bags.

Here is a few pics of the new system. It combines the properties of soil and hydro growth.

I will have a frame buildt to place over the system, reaching 10 cm over the bag so the plants can be LST'ed. A large part of the soil in the bag is replaced with my super soil.

Oh well then I will give you a picture show of our "family room window fish bowl" lol I'm sure you'll love it!

Hi Dr.the coverage of mars 600 is 2.5x2.5', the hanging distance is 18''

Awesome! Thanks for answering his question directly Tina! Looks like a great panel. I never realized how many different lights Mars has to offer! That's fantastic!! Can't wait to see what you guys come out with in the future! The Pro II 320s are outstanding!

Quick update!

First day/night of pollinating has been great and I believe successful! I decided to ditch the paintbrushes in favor of my index finger. I realized I can really see the pollen taking better this way and not wondering if there's more dust in the bristles. I forgot (imagine that!) this is what I did when I made the SB and SD when I pollinated their moms. So I know this works very well. I will document the male very well before he gets culled. Also will be taking quite a few vials of pollen for storage and those times when you get a great female of any kind and go "damn that'd be a good cross with the SB!" I can get it right then and there.

Mrs. Rebel has affectionately named him "SugarDaddy" and he will never be forgotten as he's the second most beautiful male plant I've ever grown. Its gonna be very hard to kill him lol his offspring will be gorgeous I just know it!

SugarDaddy [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] is still alive but won't be much longer. He's days off from actually opening so there's no worry of cross pollination. And he's a carbon copy of SugarDaddy [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] so I don't think that even factors in here lol

Group one is budding up very quickly! Their buds seem to get larger by the hour. No seriously... It's crazy! Group two are finally starting to distinguish themselves... Next picture update will be exciting! Very soon!

*sharing one*
