Grow Mediums RDWC recommendations

@Mañ'O'Green That sounds like good advice. The only issue is that lights out is at 11:30 PM. LOL! I might try and pull it off though. See if I can get some stretch. They did stretch out a little overnight. I'm betting they put it in gear now... Here's hopin!

Also, I am assuming the lack of stretch means my lights are not the issue. :cool1:

Well I actually think the spectrum of your lights is part of the issue. Many growers have moved away from Blurple lights for a reason. You also took way to long to get the roots fully into the reservoir. I do not know where you got the idea they need to be 3" below the net pot. I always ran mine about 1/2" below the bottom. My roots were always in the reservoir in 3 or 4 days.

You need to carry on though because the plants are very resilient.

@Mañ'O'Green I inherited a light last night. It's on long term loan. But I believe it's a fantastic light. A bit more than the chineese lights I had been using.

California Lightworks Solarstorm 800 W LED w/ UVB. We'll see how the girls like this. :cool1: It draws about 680 watts when it runs in flower mode with UVB on. I'm running this in Veg mode at about 2 feet above the plants now.
