HLG has a new kit light, The HLG 260 RSpec FR. It's the new QB272 used on the Blackbird I believe and has added Far red. It is targeted at flower but I see no reason it couldn't be used in veg if you don't mind some added stretch.

And it's only $249.00!

Look at the Blackwing. I have one in a 2x4 and it fits perfectly. Just enough room for accessories, fans, heater, etc..

Depends what size space you would use it in. In a 2x4 it would be great. And a pair of them would work well in a 3x3 or 4x4. These are meant to be budget lights, its not going to compete with the higher end lights, and the spectrum is different with the added red. Hell, if all my lights weren't already all Diablos, I'd try a couple of them!

Maybe I'll see if HLG will let me do a Grow and Show here and give out some of these. We'll see!

I was using it in a 2x4 and was seriously impressed. It will provide half the juice to the 4x4 until the upgrade. Plants under it are definitely fatter/frostier.

Second, I just looked at the HLG site. Is the Blackwing discontinued? I've just barely concluded my grow with it and it's fantastic. I was perusing picking up a second one to run them side by side.
