These girls were in my big diy sips that are about the same as regular EB. I used a cup of oyster flour instead of dolomite.(amount recommended by Build a soil). I just added as a layer.Sour D
In your EB Jr. did you band the Dolomite or just mix it in the media and what rate did you use....EB's recomendation or less?
One pound of Dolomite seems like a LOT for the regular EB.
Cool, I just can't see banding both the dolomite and fertilizer as EB says and one pound of dolomite seems too much to me.These girls were in my big diy sips that are about the same as regular EB. I prolly should reamend as soon as I see signs of floweringCool, I just can't see banding both the dolomite and fertilizer as EB says and one pound of dolomite seems too much to me.
I don't understand EB's recommendation for that much dolomite and in a banded strip. Are they recommending the dolomite to buffer the Ph or as a nutrient?I prolly should reamend as soon as I see signs of flowering
Maybe it has to do with the soil mix they provide? As popular as these things are, not much info on them in generalI don't understand EB's recommendation for that much dolomite and in a banded strip. Are they recommending the dolomite to buffer the Ph or as a nutrient?
I guess I need to call and ask them to get an exact answer. Their forum is not very technical in their answers.
It's not just their soil, it's all media. You would think the website would have a little scientific info on many topics.Maybe it has to do with the soil mix they provide? As popular as these things are, not much info on them in general
