Wow, I have to say that my grow area is whisper quiet now. I can't even hear it humming from the other side of the wall. I have not started my exhaust fan, but when I do I am going to use strips of an inner tube to quiet the vibrations.

Wow, I should have encased my tent in this awhile ago. I think it will be good in Summer as well. It should help maintain a pretty constant Temp.

Let the growing begin! I will give an update early next week.

Another thing I forgot to mention, I got rid of those damn little peat pots. I do not like them!

They dry out way too fast. At first I was concerned with them being too wet. That fear didn't last long.

I am going back to party cups.....

Funny, I keep hearing the very wise voice of Joe Dirt in my head saying, "If you find something that works, stick with it." Party cups worked really good for me on my first grow, so why did I think it would be better with these little peat pots???

What the world needs is an air pump that is quiet. Mine is wicked loud. I had it bolted to a shelf. I had to unbolt and now it sits in two rolls of paper towels but still makes a humming noise in my music room upstairs. sucks totally. Any of you outthere who know of a quiet air pump? I need a 1,00 gph jobby. Not an aquarium pump.

Okay, I checked my plants and it seems that I have no growth as of yet. The seeds that I germed may have suffered from the cold. I will check again on Thursday and if I have nothing, I will properly germ more seeds!

Well, I seem to be having some serious germination issues. The beans all died.

I am once again trying to germ some seeds and get my grow going. I am starting to wonder if my first grow was just beginers luck!

Hey mellow. Sorry to hear of your troubles. That pesky cold for germination is no good, I'm sure you know this. Good luck on your current germ op.

Good to see you. Tell me what you're doing and we'll see if we can't get it figured out for you. Got to be a reason you keep having problems. How are you're temperatures? A lot of times when they don't germ the soil is too cold.

Muddy, I did buy a heat mat. I think it's just my fault. I am germinating some now. The last ones are the ones that I had when I shut down my grow because
of noise. Those seeds got cold and I tried to germ them.

I think this batch will be ok. I did soak my beans and now have them in paper towels inside ziplock bags.
