Grow Room Pulse Labs Tester Group

Already looking crowded in there!

The threshold settings are your alert settings. These are the values that will trigger your notifications when something is off in your room. You'll notice you can pick values for both day & night.

Lux: Anything under 40 in daytime would be considered low... timer working properly? did the breaker pop? Ballast burn out? Power outage?

Temp & RH : Set what you think is acceptable for your environment, any time your Pulse's reading exceed those values, it will send you a notification via email or text (set in My Account).

thanks for the help

I like that the pulse nano will not just give you your current readings but it also notifies your of deviations in your set parameters with notifications

I can confirm the threshold settings notifications do work I set them earlier on the app and when I came back I got a notification that was sent via email to notify me

what I wanted to know is a little more about the setting in the pulse app and how to configure them specifically the threshold settings I took a screen shot of the settings in question

I set the time my lights come on and off but that's about it

I'll work on making that interface better shortly, do it's easier to understand what you're setting up. Currently working on improving how notifications are displayed to you, so you can see what is currently having trouble.

Hey now!
Merry Christmas. Happy Chanukah, kwanza festivus, 420 On Christmas, Pulse Nano day... Ok that’s enough I guess.
My pulse widgets arrived. Simple set up, only took a few moments and I was online and running. Put this one in my clone tent, the other will go in my big tent when I fire it up shortly.

The base page looks good if a bit sparse. No real controls other than alert set points. I like the ability to note or mark events on the timeline. For a dedicated fiddler such as myself the lack of stuff to fiddle with was a very minor disappointment. It will give me time to really get to know it though.
The info provided though is great! I love, love the graph and how it works.
That’s it for today. Going to have an Irish Coffee and wait for the grand babies to arrive.
Peace.

Pretty F'n awesome if I don't say so myself.
I've already decided I need a humidstat / thermostat device to connect to the appropriate devices to maintain my environment.Right now I need a humidifier and a heater. Understanding VPD and being able to target it is pretty cool right there.

I will set up mine sometime this week. And it's perfect because I no longer live with my ex but my plants can still be there, so I can check my grow with the pulse nano

time for a update on my puff puff pass genetics auto grow in super soil!

just gave all these girls a watering with a corn seed sprout tea with aloe Vera powder and coconut water powder and some npk raw powdered silica I split about 5 gallons between all the plants

2.oz organic corn seed that was soaked and sprouted
1 tsp aloe Vera powder
1 tsp coconut water powder
1 tsp npk raw powdered silica

my plants got tall this time so I jacked the light as high as it could possibly go I just used the hooks on the reflector to hag it with no racket ropes so that gave me about 6 more inches

I also top dress one of my plants with some roots organics elemental powdered cal mag its was the plant that had the brown spots I used 1 tablespoon to top dress it before I watered

the water I used was plain carbon filtered tap water (filtered water not R/O water) it was ph. to 6.2 with a mix of citric acid crystals (natural ph. down) and ascorbic acid powder and sodium ascorbic powder (both are vitamin C powders) that I use as ph. down and a dechlorinator and was bubbled for 24+ hours

Happy New Year!!!

@pop22
@nizmoKush
@db003
@Clix

Has everyone received their gear? If not please let me know. So far db003 and I are the only ones posting that we received our units.
@db003 is rocking the documenting of these widgets, I'd like to see us all present nice updates and good data like that!!
I found a cool widget by Xiaomi from China called the Mi Flower monitor that monitors soil moisture, temp, light and a few more things via bluetooth and a smartphone app. Should be a cool addition.
Trying to decide if I should incorporate into Smartthings, I can use sensors and plugs to control the temp and RH with this, I think! we'll see but what stuck out right away with the Pulse Nano is the data clearly shouws my environment needs a good bit of work!! And THAT is cool.
Peace.

PS: Sorry nizmoKush is in there as well, at least it looks like he received his gear...
