Grow Room Pulse Labs Tester Group

I am not getting any agreement between the hygrometers in the grow space 4 of them! I have ordered a calibration kit from Boveda. @okPeet when I get this Chris mentioned that he can calibrate a Nano remotely - true? VPD changes fairly rapidly on small changes in the temp/humidity so it would seem an important feature. If not maybe a user feature/entry in the device software settings would allow us to make changes in how the graphs are calculated. Let me know what you think.

its time for a update on my plants

its my birthday today just turned the big 33 and got some plans this morning going out for breakfast with a friend and going to have some drinks later so I wanted to take care of my plants early today

I just gave they there first barley seed sprout tea with aloe vera powder and coconut water powder and a pinch of roots organic oregonism xl to all the plants it was mixed with about 3 gallons of water

I used

2x tablespoons of ground 6 row malted barley
1/4 teaspoon of aloe vera powder
1/4 teaspoon of coconut water powder
pinch of roots organic oregonism xl

the water I used was plain carbon filtered tap water (filtered water not R/O water) it was ph. to 6.2 with a mix of citric acid crystals (natural ph. down) and ascorbic acid powder and sodium ascorbic powder (both are vitamin C powders) that I use as ph. down and a dechlorinator and was bubbled for 24+ hours

I also topped my lemon tooth photo period plant at its third node I plan on topping it again after it grows out a bit more

the plants in my grow tent are

2x San Francisco Sour Dough autos from top shelf elite one is in day [HASHTAG]#20[/HASHTAG] from sprout and day [HASHTAG]#13[/HASHTAG] from sprout
1x gorillagasm auto from top shelf elite in day [HASHTAG]#20[/HASHTAG] from sprout
1x Pineapple crack auto from top shelf elite in day [HASHTAG]#13[/HASHTAG] from sprout
1x lemon tooth photo period feminized from B-S-B genetics in day [HASHTAG]#19[/HASHTAG] from sprout

man my temps in my grow tent have been looking perfect since I installed the 315w cmh

Happy Birthday and nice update

I got the Boveda 75% humidity calibration kit (Boveda 75% humidity pack and plastic bag) and just put the Nano in it. You are supposed to take 24 hours for the reading. Tick Tock.

Hey, that is true, we can calibrate remotely, whenever you're ready just shoot us an email and we'll get you taken care of.

I've got a user driven calibration feature in the works, and we're improving our factory pre-calibration process as well.

:greencheck: Guys, I need some help understanding some aspects of VPD,.. I found a good article and posted it in the reference section.... what's jamming me up are the damn charts! the values are waaaaay different in the "general"? type charts like this-->

bbm-chart-04-17-2017-resized.jpg

.... vs. the ones in the article, that state specific temp differences between the air and the leaves-->

:confused1::confused1::confused1: Any idea this is about? What's your Pulse using for a scale? Seems it's close to these, not the non-specific ones....

Hey Brother @Waira how are you?!
Ya, I agree. I am still trying to find out the Leafs cooler that surrounding air and just how that is determined and just what real difference it makes. I try to aim for a middle ground and hope I'm close. I am still working it all out but at least with the Pulse Nano I can track it so as to try to keep it in bounds.
The difference I see are the units of measure with the two charts in kPa and no mention in the top chart. In looking at the 26C 65% band on all charts that combo is green, so they are close...
I really don'r know I guess! I do know that trying to keep VPD close to the "proper" levels is making a positive impact on my garden.
