I've got a sweet seeds cream caramel 40 days in and she's really bushy. The main fan leaves that come off the stem with no branches are bigger than my hand at full spread...huge! Problem is that the are keeping almost all light from getting in and the branches are doing all they can to get light in fact 1 branch grew twisting the stem around 360 degrees and the branch looks like licorice. So long story short can I cut the huge fans out with out hurting it?

To me it already seems to be growing slow. It took almost a month to first show pistils. By 40 days I would think buds would be forming like my AK was. She get note burn from ffof early in veg so I been wondering if that slowed its growth. Anyone who grew this it would be great for some info.

I am currently growing cream caramel but they are only nine days old and are on ther third set of true leaves and look fine.If you had a picture that would be nice.I have trimmed some leaves off of some of my other plants to give it more light and it didnt hurt it.I personaly would remove those fan leaves that are blocking the light from hitting the branchesas long as the rest of the plan is doing well you wont have a problem. It sure seems that thirty days to first pistols is quite long and at day 40 flowers should have started.I know there are more growers that are doing cc and hopefully they will have some comments later on today.I'll have to wait and see what mine do and hope for the best.I know they slow down veg growth when the flowering really kicks in. Keep us posted, and I will be waiting to see how yours are doing.

There is a lot of internet chatter not to fim or top autos. :bong:
Autos dont like it.:(
Not much chatter about the fan leaves so its a good question.

Id surely like to know how Thai Buddha Man and Buddy feel about it.
:firedevil:

instead of cutting the leaf try tucking them down behind the limbs out of the way
