I am fairly new to growing and decided I will go with hydroponics. Sick of dealing with soil. I currently run advanced nutrients. I will use them in my hydro also. My question.
Where do I figure out where my ppm should be per stage of growth? And if I test my ppm amd it's low. Do I add more nutrients to get the ppm up? How do I decide wich nutrient to use to get my ppm up?

Thanks in advanced.

I start around 300 ppm then when first true leaves are about 1” long I raise 100ppm every fertigation till max strength for Autos around 600-700ppm till harvest

But to get your ppm up. How do you decide what nute to use? Just add a extra ml of each?

By following their feed schedule knowing what ingredients are in each product and watching the plant. For the most part just follow the schedule at equal reduced amounts or mix at full strength and dilute to desired PPM

I use megacrop

Megacrop nutrients?

Megacrop nutrients?

Yup Greenleaf Nutrients Megacrop. what type of hydro are looking to run? I use coco with the 2 part or 1 part both work great. They just need a little tweaking to their schedule. I use @Mañ'O'Green formulator and his schedule to keep my nutrients in balance. He’s got a feed schedule for rockwool

I’ve been hearing good things about floraflex nutrients and about to try some they are on the way. Next grow I’ll be trying those out

I am going to use hydrobuckets. I'm going to use the advanced nutrients in have now. I need to find a good feeding chart since I don't have all of there line.

Search around site I know there is some growers here using their nutrients just can't remember exactly who at the moment.

It's much easier to add more water to lower ppms. So mix half strength, check ppms and water down if needed. If you need to add ppm, mix a gallon at full strength and slowly add to the diluted mix to bring it up. You always need to keep the inputs balanced with each other. It sounds more complicated then it really is. I start seeds at 350 and usually max out around 800

I want to flush my buckets weekly. So I might have to try this method. My buckets are 5 gallons but after filled, it's more like 4.
