Im waiting to see what happens with my white widow cause I dont wanna start a new thread if I decide to rip her out

Its 9 days old today and she still aint firing any roots into the res but she is still growing. Ive looked through a few threads and it does seem she is slow to get going. Ill check on her later and see what the state of play is

If you click on my name and goto my profile and see all threads started by seymour-buds you could gain a wealth of dwc info and step by step guides which will aid anybody through their grow and if your still stuck just pm bro and ill sort you out

Cheers for the comments. Seymour is all good

So good to see you back Seymour and that is an understatement. Hope to see you around.

Thank you for your post medic grower, you answered a question that saved me a lot of time.

Seymour, my heart has been heavy with worry in your absence. So glad you're well! All the best to you!

heres some pics of the auto white widow on day 9, she has started to get deficiency and looks slightly small compared to my taiga which is of the same age plus no roots

not really bothered about the def as ive had loads of plants like that and they grow out of it but no roots in the res is something else

I dropped my last 3 widow seeds in soak at about 11 this morning and by 7pm they had sank so now im just waiting for them to crack

Well she's alive and green, like you said, probably a late bloomer (no pun intended!).

All the best,

steely

nah mate, I reckon she could just be a runt or suttin, if I don't have roots in the res before the end of the first 7 days then something aint right, I want roots in that Jacuzzi as quick as poss and absorbing that nutrient

ive grown a few plants to know when something aint right bro

"ive grown a few plants to know when something aint right bro"

SB - you don't even need to say that, as i'm sure you know :)

I love the details you give on your tutorial thread with the starryder - we all know and love the fact that you know what you're doing.

I'm a bit averse to chucking plants out but i know you have said you can pass them on or grow them elsewhere :)

I'm happy to see them live, too many cockups lol ;+}

Glad to be following your hydro-steps,

steely :)

true that but if IM gonna put the effort in to a complete grow I want the best seedlings to start with and this white widow aint cutting the mustard as you can see in these 11 day old pics, new growth aint even happening so rather than waste any more nutrients and time she will be ripped but I do have 2 new seedlings popping above ground so all is not lost

oh and the taiga is just flawless as usual

150 watt of led and 1.4 ec in the res
