Hello everyone,
Would it be okay to consume buds with powdery mildew?
How would one get rid of powdery mildew?
I checked out this video but not sure if it would kill of the mildew

I wouldn't smoke bud with mildew. It looks like what he is doing works so give it a try.:D

Very interesting! I would be a little afraid to wash away precious resin. If it helps to keep powdery mildew on already infected plants at bay then it could be an option of last resort if temps and humidity can not be controlled... Thanks for the info!

If I may give my experience of this year.
Had powdery mildew inside and out this year.
This works.
Baking Soda, crushed Garlic and vegetable oil - mixed and strained into high PH water.
Why garlic? Cos it provides Sulphur - mildew hates it.
Works great.
You can wash your leaves and buds down repeatedly before harvest and it will clear the prob. but you have to work at it.
Better used as a preventative spray - but if you have to - try it.

Because Baking soda..(US..)..Bicarbonate of Soda (UK..) is highly alkali..and mold is a disease of acidosis..
it cannot survive in alakali..high oxygen conditions..

Could also help dampening off..:wiz:

Me either...

From a medical perspective, pm will disappear with decaroxylating. Hence, smoke a bowl is fine.. Would I knowingly smoke pm? He'll No!

Re: baking soda. Sodium bicarbonate deposits salts on your leaves which is not a good thing! Potassium Bicarbonate is a much better option and the one I choose. In the US, it is sold as Green Cure ( www.greencure.net ) and is safe up to one hour before harvest. Again, would I? Not the last 3 weeks, fer schzzille.... But this absolutely cures and saves your harvest!

There is also "No Powdery Mildew" which can be used after harvest as well and I think Mighty wash can be used right up to the end of harvest as well. A bottle of prevention is worth 3 of a cure.

Mighty Wash

Re: Mighty Wash....

This product is for Spider Mites, I've not heard of, nor do I see on the ingredients anything that will kill pm.....
