The one i listed is all you need. You run the top pan with the cover off and a candy thermometer clipped to the said to set/track temperature. Simple as it can get, just like i like it!

eh ill just tell ya bro LOL Im just getting a 6 qt ALL Digital crock pot with full temp and time control,and i got a candy thermo stick to check it but instead of standng stirring and cooking ill walk by every 20 minutes and whisk the crap out of it LoL! thats all.and i love yer recipe man, I use more materal but MAN that crocker type O pot man it gonna rock LOL ok so maybe not that cool,but itll make life certainly a tad easier frigin crusinart

hey dude,here is that really nice crock pot I was yapping about.forgot to post it. but it'll save electricity over time and save me hovering near the oven and over a dbl boiler and/or a pot. LOL!

it is certainly, but I use both. crockpot for the butter since thats easy and the MBM for coconut oil and tincs. ill be doing my first tinc here soonest. just need to source some damned everclear. I hate MD LOL! i hear they sell 189 since 190 proof was and still is illegal. stupid eh?! LOL!
