This is both a new thread and a continuation of my mixed indoor grow. I just felt the thread needed a fresh beginning. And as the thread is new, so is the arrangement of my garden! Gone are the DWC bins, replaced pot pots of organic soil,
I have one, DWC bucket remaining, and a 2 gallon Kratky bucket. The DWC has ESD Kush and the Kratky has a DD x KVS that was damaged by a PH issues when my PH pen crapped out on me. I'll be adding 1 or 2 more Kratky buckets. I'm going to see if I can switch from DWC to all Kratky style on keeping with my believe in the KISS principal. I feel the simplest method that is effective is the one to use. Everything I've read says using products like Big Bud, Bud Candy, etc is a waste of your money. The amount of money you might have spent on that stuff, should be invested in something that will truly improve your grows and yields, better light!

And I'm about to do that myself. I'm deciding between a 600 watt and a 900 watt LED growlight. They are both Reflector style LEDs just waiting on the best possible deal. Sometime in the future, I'm going to do a SCROG and attempt to grow 1 pound+ from one plant, AND it will be an organic grow, I find the thought exciting!

My big Durrty Chesse ( Durrty Dragon x Cheese ) hasn't flowered so I put the room on 12/12 light schedule. I REALLY can't wait to see this girl get loaded with buds!

Sorry for the crappy pics today..........

In the 1 gallon pots I have:

1 Auto Cush
2 Auto Cush x Chemdogging ( these are seeds I made, not Mitch's s Auto Cush x Chemdogging )
1Chemcitty Blues

I'll be starting 4 more plants in about a week. They will be for a private test so right now, I can't say much about them, but I will post pics of them.

I'll be creating a new thread for my 2 cabinets as they are more about testing new ideas and growing in small spaces.

My DD x Cheese is stretching she grew 2" overnight!! OMG it needs to stop! she's already 33" tall!Think its time for a little lst. but I don't have a lot of room to do that lol. Guess I should have topped her again before I put her on 12/12....

NOW we gonna cook! Literally...lol! I just scored a 900 watt LED growlight! ( true wattage is 589 not shabby anyway! )!! Probably only use it during flower or it will be cheaper to buy pot...lol! I'll post pics when it gets here in a couple weeks . It is the old style tech, not a reflector, but for $197.00 I'm not complaining. My " old tech" lights have been growing me some good medicine.

Uh oh Pop with new toys, watch out folks! I have been meaning to check in on your Kratky setup. Because I really did consider doing it to start my next run of autoultimates. The reason I didnt is because while I think it is sustaibale and a perfectly viable way to grow and you will get great results, I dont think they get the added benifit of forced oxygen. My plants outgrew my space at the 45 day mark to where I couldnt get in my room, so I didnt want to chance it and start them and have them only be half the size. The question I have is what do you think the max yeild potential is with a 5 gallon Kratky like you have? When dialed in perfectly do you think they will progress even closely to DWC?

Believe me I am a big proponent of oragnics and hydro and this is a perfect way to do it IMO and I think you will see some of the most flavorful best tasting smoke ever. I will be doing it when I get my house built in the spring and it will be for my persnoal use lol. Oh and believe me PH pen issues SUCK! I all but killed a grow due to my pen being outta whack, but live and learm. I will quit rambling now, Keep up the great work and I cant wait to see what your new light does for your already great garden!
