Pinkie Pie (14 week sativa X Auto F1-F8)

Magnum auto Buddha seeds

Just did a quick search, didnt find many grows on them. The one i did find heard some good things far as yield an potency. Although one thing that i am hesitant about is they seem to be sativa dominant which gives tall plants, i wanna keep a short compact strain close to indica statures. Also the harvest time i. The thread i found was about 109 days from seed. Ill be looking for something finishing in about 70 to 80 days from seed for my projects.

That’s where the fun comes mix big and slow with little and fast and find your pheno then work it.

Cant hurt to work it. Ill run with that then and see what we get with the cross. Right now im in the mix of probably moving so idk if i want to start now or not. Tent is down but i have a pc case right beside the bed lol.

I wanted to try to use it to take some small autos and increase size and expect to add some time. If I can take an auto I love that produces 2-3oz in 60-70 days every time and increase that to 5-6oz every time in 75-80 days we’ll worth the extra few days. Finding the right mix of genetics

Definitely right if you have a good yeilding plant in the cross the new cross should pick the yeilds up in some of the phenos for sure. Along with the quicker finishing times along with selecting plants that fit what your looking for in your breeding plan. Beans in the night stand next to me, pc case right on the other side, Me? So tempted to pop a seed in some soil lol. Started in pc cases but since switching to a tent, i feel like i dont wanna do anything in a case again lol

Hey guys! im back! had a little run in with the law that forced me to take a bit of a hiatus and nearly cost me all of my years of work on Pinkie and Kaiju lines but I have successfully germinated seed from both strains.... albeit not from my last few generations. I was however able to pop seeds that I had kept in reserve from years ago that contain the same genetics (F4-5) and should be able to finish Pinkie within a year or 2 tops, so I can finally get her out to all my fellow auto growin bretheren!!!

as you can imagine cracking open 5 year old seeds creates a lot of issues... ones I have never experienced. So even tho I put down quite a few seeds and I saw them emerging.... most fizzled out early on.... at first I suspected fungus gnats but seedlings from fresh seeds that id grown along side were outpacing mine by far and had germination rates on 100-98% where my ancient stock was barely getting 1 out of 6 seedking to pop and actually grow ( most of them crack but stall out at the seedling stage and just die.

luckily I had hundreds of seeds and the lot that is most prolific is from 13 purple mothers with green leaves and 1 dad
so I should get good variation in this lot.
So far I have been able to get these 5 females to the beginning of flower
2 are already showing purple
1 is indica dominant in veg structure (A pheno)
and 1 is Sati Dom in veg all day (B pheno)

the 1 male I have is so far just green but extremely vigorous and has a small female growing in his pot. I would prefer to have a purple male but he may color up late as many pinkies do and he has all the other traits im after aside from color so he will still make an excellent breeder, especially because I know for a fact he is a purple carrier. hes under 6 hours of light a day and is doing very well

I will continue to post updates as they come. any questions i will be glad to answer. :D

number 4 is intersex. DESTROYED
shame because it was purple from the first calyx and frosty but meh cant get around that fatal flaw

I am now down to 4 females (1 runt) and an extra girl in my males pot so 5 females total. 2 look purple so far but the others might just color up later.
and 1 male. he is very vigorous but green as hell which im not wild about. given that hes the only one I have tho I cant afford to be picky and will just have to do an extra large selection on the next generation before pushing forward. having said that im actually pretty happy that I am getting all the expressions Pinkie has to offer from this population. short...tall.....indica dom.... sativa dom.... purple.... green im taking it as an oppurtunity to redo the last 3 generations and try to avoid any pitfalls or mistakes I may have made on my first run.

heres the male ive taken to calling romanesco

ive been removing flowers from him for a few days so he doesnt drop pollen. he only gets about 6 hours of light a day

UPDATE

Pollinated all my girls today with Romanescos pollen.
I used a Qtip with a fluffed tip and then went thru with a cluster of flowers pinched at the base by a pair of tweezers and pixie dusted just to be safe. I tried to pollinate everything except the main cola but im sure i got some on those too cuzz when I was done I blew the rest onto them hahahhaa, I have to ensure that ive got lots of seeds for this next generation.

ill probably come thru 1 more time in a few days and dust again then let them finish

theyve just about stopped stretching so im gunna untie them soon and see about getting them some real nutes.... not gunna lie im broke as shit rn and all ive given them is compost tea and piss hahahaha so yeah bout time to up the P and he K

I have a bunch of pics that I will post but they exceed the size limit so I have to resize them all and... im not doin that rn

1 of these is going to be solid purple. 1 is going to be light purple. I think 1 is going to be green and I cant tell what the other will be.

those are my guesses sometime they get lightewr or darker as they develop so we shall see

I have been fucking swamped!!!!! its been tough getting back to a normal life again but shits lookin up now!!!!

sorry friends for ghosting everybody but I didn't have a reliable computer to be online with, got me a legit rig now tho! so ill be around for sure.

so!

Pinkie Pie update!!!!!

I finished off those plants that I grew out from the F5 seeds I was able to salvage. I got about 10 seed lots from nice moms (3 or 4 have real promise, the others need to be worked further)

I broke my phone and pretty much lost all the pics of them but if I find any I will be sure to post, luckily I took great notes and know each mother and father down to the smallest detail.

I ran a few more females from the same lot after the first group and they were subsequently pollinated by a light purple male and a solid dark purple male respectively. I have the pics from them!

I have already ran some of the F6 progeny and they are remarkably similar to the mothers they came from ... this makes me think the green bud gene is recessive to the purple because even with a green father all of his progeny were purple ( small population size) and even the light purple mothers have exhibited zero green progeny so I doubt its an issue of co dominance or anything like that. the fun thing is once I fully stabilize this strain again I can start making genomic experiments to decipher the exact mechanism of all the various genes in my strains DNA like all the interactions between floral color and flavor and correlation between yield and trichome per millimeter squared and yada yada

I will post from beginning to end all the grows I do from this point forward :smoking:
