caterpillars are starting to hammer the 4 outdoor girls pretty hard so i went ahead and pulled them last night
All 4 have some really nice smelling and looking buds but as expected they are all much lower yielders than my selections by about half or more.

I Also decided to clip the femenized branches on the 2 plants that were inferior to my [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] overall selection to avoid cross pollination and also do some
experimentation

Pinkies are looking good, how many generations until you think you found what your looking for? I too wanna work my own. Purple pheno cross. I have the black cream auto from sweets and the purple kush from budda. Not sure which one I'll use as my purple cross. I want a good yielder, with good potency and quick finisher about 60 to 70 days from seed and of course solid purple buds.

Budda seeds purple kush is way more stable.. not knocking on sweets. I think it was sweet seeds who used Budda purple kush to make the dark devil..

Your right I'm sure that's the base of their red family line. Which is the purple plants they have. Then I just need to find a heavy flowering auto for big yields and strong potency.

hmmm... well... I found a perfect plant in my F2 , stabilizing the lines enough to eliminate the traits and plant types I DIDNT want was the hard part. that took about 6-7 generations so 2-3 years.

so are you going to self the plants? or cross them with eachother? if your selfing then you wont see much variation out of either of those I would think. if you cross the 2 youll probably get something really stable too since there so closely related.

Yea I'll probably self one of the purple kush plants just to have some stock of it. I'll then go ahead and cross it to a heavy yielding auto with a good potency. Cause they say the potency isn't the strongest and we know the potency lacks in purple plants. Purple kush is already a quick finisher between 55 to 65 days from seed. So I'm thinking the cross will be indica I wanna keep a short stature withing the phenos.

So are you close to finishing up with weeding out the unwanted phenos? The plants look amazing I know it feels good knowing you created such a awesome strain. How's the friends love the pinkies?

sounds like youve got it well planned out and have some nice goals in mind, cant wait to see your project get going.

yeah after the F6 95% of the plants are matching all of the qualitative traits im after (frosty, purple, green leaves, pink stigma), now its just a matter of selectively breeding for higher average yield because the quantitative traits (yield, size, potency etc) take a bit longer to fully realize within the line.

Im not satisfied with having just a good strain, I want it to be great
