Photoperiod Photoperiod Summer 2020

They are at the end of week 5 Scary huh! At some point the roots being confined to a 6" cube will become a limiting factor. I just hope I don't hear "Fee-fi-fo-fum" before they stop growing.

:vibe:

I am already thinking about using bamboo to make the supports taller. 6 days since flip :yoinks:

Wow Bro I just have reservations about the bamboo sticks. Contamination, I use the bamboo sticks currently and the hole in the center can hold well whatever

Yeah, I thought about that as well. They have been in quarantine in my garage for about a week already. Another week should be good.

I think the stretch is slowing tallest is at 50 inches - remember these girls are in 6 inch cubes! Not Stilettos, although, I hope they turn into show girls.

Wait a minute!

On Monday, they were just over the second link, maybe ... 28" high.
Now on Saturday, they are 50" high?
22" in less than a week???

Yeah, that's really rocketing along.

I'm betting the stretch isn't finished yet, either.............. :crying:

I already dug out the paraffin grafting tape :bubbles:

@Shiva's Mistress They were about 60 inches today before lights out and 60 inches is the limit without danger of light burn so I supercropped them.:naughtystep:

It was easier than I thought. I am like a NOOB mentally when it comes to supercropping. The bamboo stakes are 42" above the cube top.

I just hope giving them another 16" is enough.:naughtystep:

I was not expecting this! I supercropped 30 minutes before lights out and aft 12 hours of dark I checked on the plants a few minutes after lights on and.............

These girls stood themselves up in the dark. I did not know they could do that.

Yeah, they do that! :hump:

My Jack Herer caught a heavy supercrop, and then a day or two later when I saw her again, no sign, just a little knuckle at the squeeze point.
Usually I'll tie them down as well. Supercrop and tie the end. Otherwise...

I never used to do supercropping, only heavy bending.
Have to soften up the bend point a bit first, squeeze it from several angles, for an area around 1"+ of stem.
Always feels bad, but the fibers can totally break up and not affect their growth at all.
Otherwise they might snap and break open if you just do a straight bend with no prep of the stem area.

Gonna be jungle time in there pretty soon... :vibe::cooldance::greenthumb:
