Photoperiod Photoperiod Summer 2020

It is a good thing I harvested the Citradelic Sunset, I found some bud rot in the main cola. I lost about an ounce of the best bud :finger:. It would have been way worse in a few days.

I am really worried about all those big fat colas in the space. They are so dense. Only time will tell.

Ok so I was going to harvest the Green Crack tomorrow but I found a quarter size bit of bud rot on the cola nearest the other plant so I did an emergency harvest of that plant. Ms. MOG pitched in and she hates the smell of pot :worship:. I got it line drying with a wet trim and gentle air movement 40%RH for the first day to remove any surface moisture.

I looked at the Panamas but could not see any obvious infection?

Happy to report I did not find any Bud Rot on the Panamas at lights on tonight or any of the drying bud.

I am not out of the woods yet because I have never grown such dense huge buds. The nugs are like brussell sprouts. I do not know if you can control just the environment well enough to the point to prevent that from happening with buds like this? My temps and RH were within normal boundaries never over 60% and most of the time under 50% Lowest night time temp 68°F.

Fingers crossed for Ya. That RH is a little high ? Maybe more air circulation ? Kind of ironic that what we strive for can cause other issues. I know you know how to get there just :goodluck:

Yeah, I practically have a wind storm in there. These colas are the densest and biggest I have grown. The Panamas are rated avg to high botrytis resistance. So far I do not see any infection on them  . The drying bud seems to be ok as well.

Late Flower
I am sweating bullets here. I don't have room to harvest the remaining girls until I at least get what is hanging into Paper bags to sweat. The colas are the biggest I have seen anywhere in person. I have one I believe will go 6 ounces dry! It is as big as my leg around! I just had to tie it up. The RH is 42% I am thinking it will be two or three days before I can chop. They are so sticky and getting very close with most trichomes on the Lemon and Red all cloudy. the Green is still mostly clear.

Praying for the best for these lovely colas!

Would a last minute leaf strip help keep humidity down at all?
Stop them transpiring out into the air at least?

How about those closet dehumidifier packs that suck up water to keep your clothes dry?

The amount of fresh white pistils there... wow, could leave them for another few weeks and they wouldn't be over-ripe!

Amazing work there.

The low 40s is as low as I can get it and really that is pressing the low end of the VPD scale. I don't want them to stop growing.
