just about to feed my girls and water is 5.8, what stuff can i use to pH up that i might have lying around?
on a budget of nothing so no "go buy some pH up" suggestions
was thinking milk or salt or something, i dont wana mess my plants up though obviously lol!
any help appreciated thanks!

use a/2 tsp per gallon and wait about 45 mintues for it to stabilize in the water.... preferably with a bubbler mixing it continously... if not then manually stir eveyr 5 or 10 minutes...
it takes the water down a lot for a little bit and tends to be a little slow registering on the ph mewter... :2cents:
:toke:

Thanks JM will give it a bash, seemed pointless spending money on pH up/down products when im sure there's countless other things that do exactly th same job for less!

It has to be said, that "YOU NEVER WANT TO ADD SALT TO YOUR WATER OR GROW".. ever. Salt is the number two cause of lockout. Number one being PH, in case you were wondering lol. That's why people are so adamant about not using hard or softened water to use for your plants, the salt causes things to go bad. I have no idea what milk would do to a pot plant, maybe good for calcium? maybe cause it to be lactose intolerant? of course, if you were using a strain like cheese, it might make the cheese more pungent? :crying: alright I will stop now.

Is salt the same as ormus sea solids?

That being said just remember not to abuse on baking soda because it's salty :)
