New Grower ph up,ph down?

My well water is super high and i am using about 25 ml. ph down to get to 6.5.This store bought ph down gets a little spending.I know you can use vinager for down and sodium carbonate for up.I think i read this on some forum,any comments appreciated.

That's exactly what I use; rice vinegar for down and Arm & Hammer baking soda for up. Cheap as beans. I've also used distilled white vinegar for down.

Muriatic acid works well as a pH down. About $8 a gallon and it will last forever.

Thanks all for your help.I am waiting for my oakton ph tester from amazon,but it does not have ppm.I'll play with it as soon as it comes.I applied for there credit card and got 30 bucks off ,sweet !!!!!
