PH Plan Quick Start

No sugar or soda is fine, I do not do a whole lot of processed sugar. Is natural sugar ok? apples/oranges and the like? I cant live without my fruit!!! It is what keeps me off of processed sugar!!!

Dr Mercola had an interesting article on his website regarding fruit consumption with regards to fructose intake

The general theme of the article was high fructose intake is bad (watch Professor Robert Lustig Sugar the bitter truth youtube video on fructose to see in detail why) as it is only metabolised by the liver (and perhaps pancreas) using the same metabolic pathway as ethanol (booze alcohol) and results in metabolic by products that raise blood pressure (uric acid I think, which can cause gout as well), particularly small and sticky lipoproteins molecules (cholesterol basically) and triglycerides that are preferentially stored as fat.

Dr Mercolas general gist is that the fructose found in whole fruit is ok as it is accompanied by lots of vitamins, minerals, anti oxidants and fibre which offset the negative aspects of the fructose so general fruit intake is ok.... HOWEVER if a person has lots of say soda/pop/processed food sweetened with high fructose corn syrup and lots of fruit in the diet potentially damaging levels of fructose may be consumed....

So basically we need to cut out the man made processed crap and eat the food that mother nature intended us to...

OK Aunty, I am starting this on Tuesday morning, and I will post my beginning PH. I will do 1/3 teaspoon 3 times a day for 7 days and will let ya know the results!!

Started this today as well. Not feeling any detox so far, when should I start being conscious? )

Hello all. There was a dr. on the dr. Oz show the other day talking about his book Wheat Belly that is very interesting.

I don't know how to post videos yet. So if some one can help me out and post them for us It would be helpfull. I think they fit in with what we are talking about here.

My understanding is the more wheat you eat the lower your PH will be.

@eye of Fire. I would be intersted to know if your bad days with MS correspond with increased wheat consumption.

To help post videos for me, search YouTube for Dr Oz wheat belly. There are four I think.

Hello Sour Pickle,

Glad to have your input here. We have been doing a lot of work in this area, and we are helping people get well, myself included. There is much to offer here in the medical section.

Aunty<-------:kusht:

Peace

Hi PP and welcome. In my case about 24 hours. It is important to take the BS on an empty stomach so that stomach acid does not break it down. I took about 3 or 4 days to feel the positive benefits. Are you able to check your pH so you can track your level. Good luck

Woke up with ph 7.3! How I did it? BC before sleep for always from now on as trough the day I am able to correct it and not at night, but is impotent to have good ph while sleeping (oxygen,recovery...):Sharing One:

I'm Catching up...:coffee2:

In my cycle racing days I used to bicarb load the day before and morning of
the race and the effects were pretty miraculous..... Allowing work at maximum
(age adjusted) heart rate for the duration of the race without blowing out....
As mentioned in the thread though upset "stomach" for several days was the price
paid.... The extra available energy though was amazing....

Hypoxemia or what might be called “blocked oxidation,” is followed by
fermentation of sugar in cells, which then leads to the primary
condition upon which cancer, infectious and inflammatory processes
feed. Viruses are “anaerobic” creatures which thrive in the absence
of oxygen. Yeast, mold and fungus live in an anaerobic environment.
Most
strains of harmful bacteria (and cancer cells) are anaerobic and are not
comfortable in the presence of higher oxygen levels so doctors will find cancer
cells easier to kill when oxygen levels are increased. What they did not guess
at is that O2 levels can be dramatically increased by the simple administration
of sodium bicarbonate.

Increasing Co2 levels through the use of sodium bicarbonate is good in cancer treatment because bicarbonate drives up CO2 levels in the blood, which increases oxygenation to the cells

There are many homeostatic adaptation responses that fight to maintain pH balance but the
principle one is using high pH bodily fluids such as water as a solvent
to neutralize acid residues. The second greatest resistance the body puts up
against dropping pH is pulling bicarbonate from the pancreas and kidneys
into the blood as an alkalizing agent. Bicarbonate ions are generated from
carbon dioxide and diffuse into the plasma. Then there are other levels of
protection but when they are all overwhelmed the end result is accumulated acid residues at the cellular level that drown out oxygen.

MrG.....That is Our Little Secret...
Bicarb gives you OXYGEN in the Blood and Oxygen is Energy...

Don't Tell anyone else or they will ALL be doing it.."astros Wink wink.."..Meds fit for a King..not the common riff-raff...

MrG...any Update on this..?

EoF..worrying about you..check in..

Magnesium deficiency may be a common factor associated with insulin resistance.
Symptoms of MS that are also symptoms of magnesium deficiency include muscle
spasms, weakness, twitching, muscle atrophy, an inability to control the
bladder, nystagmus (rapid eye movements), hearing loss, and osteoporosis. People
with MS have higher rates of epilepsy than controls. Epilepsy has also been
linked to magnesium deficiencies.[1]

See that mag deficiency connection to MS..?..

Briman...for the first week I would like to see you on Baking Soda only coz it gives Us an idea how fast you respond to the BS what if any dietary changes are needed.
The Danger point with the chronic sickies is if they have gone into sugar resistance..at That point we would probably remove the fruit for a while until we had the sugar problem sorted.

My understanding is the more wheat you eat the lower your PH will be.

Sourpickle2..we haven't got round to discussing this yet..BUT..
If you are magnesium deficient it Switches off Intrinsic Factor production.
Intrinsic Factor is what we need to digest grains and starches.

In Theory..if you Magnesium Up...Intrinsic Factor should start being produced and you would digest the grains and starches again...so again in Theory..Celiac Disease or the much more Common Carb Intollerance should be Reversible with Magnesium supplementation...:tiphat:

Do you have a PH reading to go with that...?...not many people are resistant to Baking Soda Bottom..

komach..spot on..the Oxygen does the Healing as we sleep..we All Need that deep refreshing sleep for Repairs..

Signs we are Looking for..

Suggestive early warning signs of magnesium
insufficiency:
Physical and mental fatigue
Persistent under-eye
twitch
Tension in the upper back, shoulders and neck
Headaches

Pre-menstrual fluid retention and/or breast tenderness

Possible
manifestations of magnesium deficiency include:

Low energy

Fatigue
Weakness
Confusion
Nervousness
Anxiousness

Irritability
Seizures (and tantrums)
Poor digestion
PMS and hormonal
imbalances
Inability to sleep
Muscle tension, spasm and cramps

Calcification of organs
Weakening of the bones
Abnormal heart rhythm

Severe magnesium deficiency can result in low levels of calcium in the blood
(hypocalcemia). Magnesium deficiency is also associated with low levels of
potassium in the blood (hypokalemia). Magnesium levels drop at night, leading to
poor REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep cycles and unrefreshed sleep. Headaches,
blurred vision, mouth ulcers, fatigue and anxiety are also early signs of
depletion.
