PH Pens

You have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars, time and effort getting to this point and you are willing to risk it all on cheap tools. WHY?

I still have my other ph pen but with corona hurting us economically it was a real struggle to put this all together.I still have my Apera pen.

If you have a functional Apera, why did you spend money on a cheap alternative. The Apera is a quality instrument which should last a long time with care, and is a heck of a lot more reliable than your new pen. The ppm/EC meter is a different story. The tech is a lot simpler, and with reasonable care even a cheap meter will do the job, and likely for a while. So, your joint purchase got you at least one useful tool.

I suggest you stick with the Apera and use the new pH pen as a backup.

Not sure why I have to defend my purchase to peeps.I bought the cheap set for the tds meter so I could play around with it.I had a nice one before
and never could really figure it out.Thought this was a good way to try again. The ph pen was a throw in has far has I was concerned but
it did make me wonder about the questions that I asked at the beginning of the thread.
Just joined AFN for help with growing auto's and maybe being able to pay forward some of the things I have learned.

Sorry if my question offended, that was not my intent. Good luck with your grow, and don’t hesitate to ask for help or ideas.:pighug:
