Hows everyone going? I am new to the site, and a first time grower! I have Auto Blue Mystic beans from Nirvana. I germinated two of them at the begining of the month and they both popped. One came before the other, she was "Mary" and the second one was "Jane", of course, typical haha but anyways I planted Mary on August 5th, and Jane the 9th. On the 10th Jane sprouted 1cm high and Mary did not. On the 11th Jane developed another small set of leaves, Mary showed no growth. On the 12th I realized the head of Mary was caught in the seed shell and broke off and my poor little Mary was decapitated.... RIP  Fortunately I have more beans! So I germinated "Mary 2.0" on the 12th and she popped yesterday, the 14th and shes in the medium now, FFOF. Jane is doing good and is making alright progress, she has looked the same for about 3 days now. I think her leaves might be bigger but I'm not sure. But thats my growth so far! Stay tuned for more! Its definitely gonna be something exciting! Peace! Hope to hear from yall! Until then :smoke:

Heres some pictures of Jane and her new sister Mary 2.0 too!

Heyy danks glad to have you on the site I aM also growing blue mystic auto im currently in flower but I was reading u put freshly germed seeds in ffof. They mite be stunted from growth cause that soil is really hot for seedlings. I would switch to a peat moss or atlease a soiless organic mix cant wait to see how these turn out peace.

Welcome to AFN. Moving your thread over to the New Growers forum where we can give you a bit more help should you need it.

A word of caution about FFOF soil. It can be a bit too strong, or hot, for seedlings. Usually it's best to start in something like Light Warrior or Happy Frog or a mixture of one of those with the OF. Also, there have been some pH problems with the OF. If you don't have one already, I would suggest you invest in a good electronic pH tester, like the Hanna Combo. Should you run into any issues the first think we will want to know is what the pH of your soil is.

hows yours turning out? id like to know how she is growing and smelling but hmm i dont need my babies getting their growth stunted, but if i switched now, i dont wanna switch to a small pot again because i still need to transplant her in a 3gal pot anyways! i might just switch her to a bigger pot with the ffof mixed with perlite maybe? or should i switch to like coco coir? i just dont wanna damage my plants, i would hate to lose another plant! thanks for the help so far
