Quick update on progress:

WG1 on day 28, still looking like a very sad little girl. Never really managed to get her back on track after she started going droopy on me a couple of weeks ago. Took off the lowest couple of sets of fans today as they were very discoloured and getting in the way. Got her first taste of bloom nutes the other day at half strength, did seem to improve her colour slightly. Might try to increase base nutes to 75% next feed and see if that helps at all. Learned a lot from this plant so far and think it shows in her sister…

WG2 on day 21, showing some rust spots on older growth but overall a much better looking plant than number 1 was at this stage. She’s getting veg nutes at half strength and seems pretty happy with that so far. Think it’s safe to say at this point that this will be my choice for the competition, will let the other one ride as well as she’s not taking up any space and more importantly she’s giving me a bit of an idea what to expect from this whole crazy solo cup growing fiasco… a lot more challenging than I expected but very interesting!

Here’s a quick update, I’ll start by correcting an error I made in my last update post. I said (in some kind of stoned babble) that WG2 was on day 21 but in reality she was only on 17. Apologies for any confusion this might cause, I’ll try to always have my notes on hand when posting in future.

Above is WG1 hanging in there on day 34. Nutes are getting upped next feed, checked the schedule and looks like I didn’t increase the base nutes when I should have… live and learn.

And here’s our competitor, WG2 on day 23. She’s not without her issues but certainly doing a lot better than the other 1. Her nutes are getting increased tomorrow as well but right about on time thankfully.

And I know it’s not a solo cup or Wedding Glue but it is Seed Stockers so thought she wouldn’t be too out of place here. Gorilla Cookies on day 34 and chugging along nicely, shaping up to be a beautiful plant. Extremely happy with these genetics so far, thank you again for this opportunity!

Here’s an update on some rather poorly looking solo cups.

WG1 on day 40, she’s definitely forming some buds but given her many issues I doubt they’ll be anything special. All valuable information though and lessons have been learned.

WG2 on day 29, sadly she’s taken a turn for the worst over the last few days and is showing some very worrying brown spots on older growth. Thinking it might be a mag deficiency but just guessing to be honest, will keep and eye on her and do some more research.

Almost looks like it may be ph or a root issue? How's the drainage?
