I use 1oz. of popcorn buds per 2 cups of honey. Heat to no more 160 degrees for about an hour, add a tsp of water per cup of honey. Smash and mash the bud in the honey periodically during the cooking process. Then the messy part starts filtering the bud back out of the honey. The warmer honey the easier it is. I have purchased the appliance that does all of the cooking for you and the special filter bag but that’s the process.
We have found putting the honey in a warm beverage seems to hit faster.:smoking:
edit: the flowers have to be decarbed which involves heating the flower material to 220 degrees for 25 minutes in the oven. That activates all the stuff your looking for.
