Putting them into soak in a bit. I had 10 more BH break ground today and split them with my brother. Finally talked him into getting a small set up. I got a couple of pics (crappy as heck) that ill post in a bit

Thanks Noods Ya i would have had a better harvest but i had the 4 males and 4 or so seeds never germ'd and the 2 stunted ones that were full of seeds, but i think i'm getting better The lack of lights it still holding me back a bit also. Saving for a nice LED now. Maybe all have it before this next grow is finished. Also working on a new box 1ft taller and 1ft to the width and depth. I will be able to add the LED with no problem and also a few CFL if needed.
Now, here is a run down on what is going on with the new grow. I have 10 BH sprouted 2 inside my box and the rest out. The PE & 1 HBD are sitll frozen in time and have not grown any more so i set them outside also. 1 of the HBD is doing awesome, it's still in the box. I have a few more BH that have just split open that i'll give to my bro. That's about 30/60 germ rate for my first ever seeds bred by me. It was the seeds from the two stunted BH that never sprouted.
The Snowryder, Purple Kush, & Critical + Auto are in a paper towel waiting to pop.

Last thing is i finished my shop Well as close as it's going to get till it cools off. Still needs a good paint job and have to run power to it but its usable

Fungus gnats, any suggestions welcome friends

Fungus gnats are pretty easy to control, especially if you get them early. I recommend buying some mosquito dunks and putting them in something like a 5 gallon bucket. This is what they look like:

Let them sit at least overnight, preferably with some air bubbles mixing the water. Then use this water on your plants the next couple of times you water them. It will kill the larvae in the soil and your problems will be over. You can also add a fly strip to kill the adult ones that are flying around. I previously tried breaking up the dunks and putting pieces in 1 gallon jugs, but I've found it to be much more effective to just use a big bucket.

There are other solutions like putting DE powder or sand on top of the soil, but the fans can blow that stuff around & I really don't like a messy tent. I also try to avoid spraying things on my plants if I can, so the dunks are my preferred method.

Howdy UnholyFire. This is the first year I have seen so many little critters flying around the house. They sure look like the gnats and end up in the sink and dog dish etc. Good thing I am not growing right now. Coming from house plants I am sure after reading the below link:

Hi friends. Sorry for lack of updates. Been busy with life/sick/life/sick and so on but im great today and everyday even if the day tries to get me down So update time>> Outdoor MKage is doing great. Bout 4ft tall and hair'n up. Had to remove about 10 BH from the yard. They were just about 7 days old but better safe than sorry ya know. Got 6 more started to go into the woods. That will give me a full 9 weeks+ for them to grow. The pics are of my grow box. Everything in there is doing awesome. They are all labeled in the pics (strain and age) all but the Critical + Auto. I'm think it's around 25 days also. I still have yet to grow a Purple strain :cry: I tried joint doc purple ryder x4 and Buddha Seeds Purple Kush Automatic x4. Only conclusion i can come to is 138w of cfl bulbs is just not powerful enough for the purple strain Still trying to save for a LED setup. I want to give a big :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs: to STITCH for the Short Stuff line. I have yet to have any problems from germ to grow to finished product.
