So I had a feeling one of my (mars) cobs wasn't performing properly and just by chance I took a pic of it. You can actually see some of the failed diodes in the cob.So am I. And according to cobshop.net it says it should be 630 umoles @12"... so I guess I might have not taken proper care of my Autocob and the COB degraded way more than it should have (I did use it quite some time in a shower for my veggies without any extra cooling while when i used it in the cannabis tent I would use it with at least a fan hitting it directly), and a newer Autocob or one properly cared for might give better numbers... or I'm just not taking the measurments appropiately.

I'm not positive but I think the one failed because I had the light angled downward on the plant and the heat didn't distribute evenly.
Not sure how common of a problem this is with cobs but it's something that's easy to check.
Shane from Migro did a test on cob performance and it worked out they lose about 5% year over year performance.
