How many of bigSmo's autocobs would you run in a 4x8x72 tent? I know sometimes we can't extrapolate these things.

Generally can't go wrong with having 1 AutoCOB per plant.

Yeah, but what if you are growing 20 something plants in small pots, scrog... ? That's what I'm trying to find. I'm thinking that 12 would probably be enough, most of the time.

I use 5 Autocobs in a 4x4 and could probably use one more at flower, so 10? I’m a huge Autocobs fan, but dealing with plugging in ten?

Its not that difficult. If I were lighting a 4x8 area I would most likely go for eight of them but limit myself to no more than eight plants unless I was trying for a SOG.

Thanks, that helps tremendously. I have been putting them to close to the plants in veg, from what you guys say. I'll bring up to thirty inches and leave them alone. I went ahead and pulled the trigger for a total of 12, but I have other plants growing elsewhere.

I'm working on setting up a proper reflective box to take more fair measurements to share with y'all, just been very busy lately sorry and haven't been able to find mylar in my town.
But i can say already i took some measurements of my autocob the day I got my Apogee SQ-520. They were taken in a 2x2 shower with white tiled walls and it registered around 360 ppfd at 12 inches... quite below what it should read if i'm not wrong. Not sure if I've been using the light wrong (maybe too hot in the shower) or it's just normal COB efficiency lost after 2 years or not proper reflective walls.

I put them at the top of my tent and see if the girls stretch any. If they do I lower them a little, most the time they don’t and they eventually grow to the light.

How big of a tent you using? Mine are in a 8'x4'x6.5' vivosun
