Outdoor Strategies

Ahhh brown dirt.....an inpspiration too all....and a better spokesman fir bc weed than marc emery.

Im going to do outdoor autos but first I'll start them indoors for 3 weeks, what is the minimum cfl watt I can use just for 3 weeks ?
I think 25w will be ok, what do you think ?

I'm at 52 degrees in the Uk and have had many a good outdoor grow. The trick is plenty of space between each plant for good air flow and start them off early say the end of Feb beginning of march indoors and put them out through the day to harden them off.
I've had plants I left outdoors by mistake survive a ground frost but I wouldn't recommend it.
Plant straight into the soil ( alot less watering if they find their own naturally) which I usually dig over through the winter adding bone meal and fish blood ferts maybe a bit of lime if it's clumpy and away you go
With them being direct in the ground you don't have to check on them so often so less chance of being caught.
This year I have some NL going into my garden but they will be fan trained against a fence behind some other tall plants so hopefully they will be disguised plus I have some on the go in the poly tunnel but I'm not sure if they're gonna stay in there yet

Please tell me more about this "poly tunnel" I'm also going to try the 'hide em behind some regular garden plants stratgedy' and they have to be mobile as im going to bring them in every night for reasons you might guess

Hiya Standup good plants to hide them behind would be a row of runner beans or peas you know the type of plant I mean something taller than your plants so any taller plant would do.
Polytunnel is basically a plastic greenhouse but the cover is only see through when you get real close I have 11 plants in mine at the moment and from the kitchen which is about 15 feet away they look just like everything else in there non descript plants.

I'm using 20-30% coco coir mixed with organig potting soil and worm castings. No PH problems with that mix

Coco likes a pH range similar to hydro. I also read an article in cannatalk that said coco needs more N and less P and K. Something to do with the cation exchange. Might work really well in the swamp since they tend to be more acidic.

I chose it this year for adding to soil mix cause it's better for the environment and much easier to haul.

Home hardware sells the bricks for 6.99 right now, expands to over 3 cubic feet.

Right on brotha, for that low a percentage of coco the regular Ph range of soil would work. My blend is approx 70% coco mixed with shrimp compost and native soil. Approximate numbers since I'm a guerrilla grower and need to get in and out rather quick.

So far my girls are loving it, here's a picture of a green poison

I'd love to see your girls @pop22? I'll check out your threads, mine are in the sweet seeds section if you wanna take a gander

Yep the bug mask is a very good thing ..no I'd. ..and if yer doing guerrilla proper ya got bugs.
From what I gather brown dirt got ripped and so grows indoors now....shame.

I was wondering if anyone ever tried using Airpots filled with TLO, and placed on swampy ground where the roots could grow through the bottom and suck up water....just thinking out loud here :)

Considering the idea, and wondering if root rot would set in.
