Watch this series, 14 parts to it i think. You'll understand it more if you see him do it. It's the bucket in the stream, i suppose it would only work in certain terrain. But it's a good idea imo.
If your an outdoor guy it's a good vid to watch, will inspire you. :D

I've already stashed a couple bails in the woods.. :D It's not fun doing it all in one day.

One of those 20 gal smart pots would be nice to use too. Could put 20 or so autos in there. Guerrilla a few of those around the woods and it'd be an alright summer.

I am even going as far as finding a bee keepers mask like that.. Or maybe a Tillie with a mosquito net or some thing. Seemed genius, if some one spots you in the woods they aren't getting an ID, that's for sure.

Do you think that you should grow all your plants in one hole, or should you grow one plant in each hole like this guy does?

It must be much harder to grow dig many smaller holes instead of just one big one. But i ain´t afraid of a little bit of work. And if it pays off, it is a whole lot better.

How do you guys do it? One big, or many smaller ones?

thanks gtron, I'm thinking maybe a little bit stronger capsaicin like self defense spray or a more pure capsaicin powder from a lab.

Cres from what I've read and always heard dogs noses are 8x stronger. An ex of mine was a dog trainer, but dogs noses aren't the discussion.

So far using common house hold house sauce has worked for the last couple weeks, no dig ups. maybe it's due to the bone and blood meals being in the ground a little longer, but since the hot sauce has been applied after watering and rains... not one plant has been dug up since hot sauce has been added after watering and rains.

What chemical ferts would you recommend Cres? I don't buy into the whole special sauce ferts, I've used general hydro's stuff when growing hydro. but fancy labels and high prices don't really get my blood pumpin.

I ordered some "Xtreme Gardening Mykos 30 Mycorrhizae Fertilizer"
with these features:
  • Includes 30% mycorrhizae / 70% 6-4-4 fertilizer blend
  • Ideal for growing organic vegetables and flowers
  • Provides nutrients to plants not only produces a healthier garden
  • Lives on the roots of plants and forms a symbiotic relationship
  • Extends microscopic straw-like filaments called "hyphae" into the soil where they extract, transport and dramatically increase a host plant's supply of nutrients and moisture
  • Pockets of nutrients and water in the soil are now made access

The Mycorrhizae fungi + beneficial bacteria and microbes are great to use while transplants and will help down the line if you can't make it to the patch and get some water to the ladies. It strengthens and lengthens the roots and helps the plants use water and nutes more efficiently. Really helps in droughts

I would like to try Plant success's "Great White" even though it looks like a special sauce fert.
From what I've read has many types of great fungi, bacteria and mycrobes.
I know Plant Success's stuff is good they're base line product has been known for many years

Actually, a dog Does smell 1000x better than humans. They have more olfactory glands than humans. Out of all of a dogs senses this one is the most developed. Just sayin'. All in good fun though!:smokebuds: I hope the best for you and yours sir.

DO NOT spray defense spray anywhere near something you will be smoking at some point.

Well, dogs naturally have a wonderful sense of smell. They have many more sensory 'smelling' cells than a man's 5,000,000. A Dachshund, for example has 125,000,000; a Fox Terrier has 147,000,000 and a German Shepherd (often used as a 'sniffer' dog) has 220,000,000. Truffle hounds can find the fungus delicacy even when it's a foot underground! However, A dog's nose is not just used for smelling, but also to keep him cool. That's why a dog pants. The longer the dog's nose, the better his cooling system works.

it's cool to add zeros and pretend, but I'm grown and like facts.... we're not talking about dogs anyhow, why do people keep bringing them up.

capsaicin:hot: - it comes from peppers, it should be fine compared to all of you using chemical ferts.
But I'm not using pure capsaicin, I'm using hot sauce. tho Louisiana Hot Sauce sells there used grinds to pepper spray manufactures

Back to OUTDOOR STRATEGIES and away from people throwing zeros at dog's noses:lol:

:howdy:
I go with several small holes

this is what I got into today outdoors... and I did start a thread earlier but no replies just yet and I just wanna make sure I'm going about creating a feminized hybrid seed without additives correctly
Creating Feminized Seeds w/o additives

This is my first time attempting to create female seeds without spraying GA or CS on the plant and I wanted to check to see if I'm doing this correctly or atleast in a way that may work.

I harvested a plant a few weeks ago, instead of cutting the main stem at the base of the plant I harvested each individual branch except the very lower branches. I placed the harvested plant inside of a bush where it didn't get the right amount of light.

When I visited the plant this week I found bananas near the buds on the bottom branches.
So I took a ripe pollen banana and rubbed it between my fingers and placed the pollen on a female that's a few weeks into bloom. From what I understand this should create female seeds that are a cross between the female that created the pollen and the female that is/or should be creating the seeds.

Is this right?

You already posted this on a new thread man. And you're still wrong about the dogs. We're trying to help you out with your grow and for you to Not get busted. These guys telling you this are experienced in the field and you should trust them and follow their advice. That's what it's all about. Good luck.
