Outdoor Outdoor grow bud rot, mold, or insect infestation?

Had a secluded outdoor grow and could not get out there very often the last few weeks of grow. We were having lots of rain and cooler temps 5-18c / 40-65f. Finally got out there right after the first light frost and found a lot of the buds higher up on the one girl were very brown and dry looking. We were in a hurry so we chopped her down and kept her separate from the rest. This is how those buds looked after a few days of the whole plant hanging and being having their intitial trim. I have never actually had bud rot before and while I am almost positive that's what I am looking at, I just wanted to be sure. I've always heard it was slimey and these could have been but were not when we found them.

I was only able to look at your first image on my phone but yeah that's definitely bud rot. You can even see some of the gray fuzzy mold in there too.

Yea I was afraid of that. Guess it's time to pull the bubble hash machine out.
