Been lurking here for a while. This year I thought I would come out of the shadows. Hopefully I can show a few of my outdoor plants growing through the season. Here's what I have growing already as I dont start full auto strains until may.

This is 1 of my plants from my last outdoor grow here in the cold north of the uk. Sour cream 6 1/2 oz when dry. So we can grow here with a little luck.

So the comp is a bud porn comp not yield? I Only ask as it will help with strain choices for entry you can Count me in. Now I just need to sort through me seeds for a nice entry for each class. Can I enter one of my own crosses or does it have to be a seed companies strain?

nice plants,looking good.
my outdoors failed everytime,i live in a windy ass part of the uk.
not sure of the outdoor comp rules, but indoor/auto has a nug and plant of the month.so outdoor could have a few comps in one so to speak.
grow what you want and take it from there,no ?
anyways welcome and good luck

Thanks for your kind words Archie. I am sure their is a strain for your UK outdoor weather problems. Were I grow we get lots of bad wind being right on the north east coast the trees have a natural bend from the coastal winds battering the shore. A high calcium feed will help strengthen the the stem of your plants also. I grow mostly organic and use thing's I can find on site. The weed horse tail is one of the best plant to use for a quick organic tea and it help with powder mildew prevention. When you get into a annual routine growing organic you start feeding the weeds not just your plants lol. I feed the local horse tail egg shells because its the best way to turn that calcium from eggs shell which your plant struggles to use into readily available calcium plant feed. I think a lot of outdoor growers make it harder than it needs to be. I wont be growing big this year but I will be having fun. :LikeWeed::note:

You can enter any strain you want and yes you will be seeking crystal and or colour buds. Voted will be based on live cola and also on a dried bud pic.

Adding silica will also strengthen branches and is also said to be great for mold prevention.

Yes thats very true. Nettle tea is good for silica also but its rich in nitrogen. Nitrogen makes plant grow fast which is good pre flower but the soft new cell growth from feeding high nitrogen can cause mould. It's a big mistake lots of organic growers make feeding to much nitrogen in damp climates. I start with the liquid tea's. nettle, then comfrey and banana, lastly horsetail and banana. I don't flush because I grow organic. The ground is prepped with home made compost consisting of rabbit, chicken and horse manure, a bit of log hash and fish blood and bone. At plant out I add mycorrhizal fungi to.

Cool mix bud!! I am super simple...plenty of horse manure, some dolomite lime, and then i run bloom nutes during flower to boost flower production. Check it out man, might pick up some tips and get that 10 ouncer bud!! https://www.autoflower.org/threads/...-maximizing-outdoor-photoperiod-plants.59210/
