this cactus has only bloomed twice since i have had it, and that's been almost 7 years. the first happened many years ago when i first transplanted it into a slightly bigger container. the second time is this: (under the protection of my patio shade cloth)
it's a real trooper, the last surviver of a group of three.
this is a few weeks after i put it into this bigger planter, i plan to put some more plants around it, to build a miccorhizal network...
