Is anyone using sea solids or ORMUS in their growing? I've just started venturing into the world of this, and find it fascinating. I started making my own ORMUS and just did my first seed soak with ORMUS water, and my god it's amazing to see. 5 days ago the seeds were in my freezer and today they went into the cloner with 3" long tap roots and nice feeder roots and the first set of true leaves all in their full glory. I hadn't had sprouts this vigorous, even from the same set of seeds.

So, I was curious, has anyone heard of ORMUS and/or use it? It's something kind of interesting... a transdimensional group of mono-atomic elements, mainly metallic ions. There's a lot of "out there" stuff on it, like it making people levitate etc... but it's use on plants is seeming pretty amazing. There's a product, EcoVie, which I think it basically just this. I, though, like making my own.

Well, since no one else is doing it, I've started it. I've got a few photoperiod strains and 2 black dragons running on 1000ppm (.5 conversion - 2EC) of sea water. I use Dead Sea salt. Theyve been running on sea solids for almost 3 weeks now. The first week was a little more than half sea solids and then the rest was Jacks. So far, things are seriously blowing up! And seriously, nothing more than sea water for a good time and with aero, problems show themselves fast. When I first moved to all sea water I was down checking every 2-3 hours, and now a couple weeks later... they're beautiful still. The buds are real thick and the dragons are looking fantastic as are my other Deep Chunk crosses (crossed with Oregon Funk x G13) and also some MOB. Resin production is huge, as it should be, with resin being a product of rare earth minerals. Having 70+ minerals in solution being fed to the plants is doing wonderful things there.

I'll grab some pictures in a little bit when lights come on. I think it's a discussion worth having, though, for sure. There aren't many people at all growing in ocean water. I know it's stumping folks at the grow shops!

Well, you've piqued my curiosity  Very interesting stuff man. My brother is in Cali and has a number of outdoor grows under his belt and knows a ton of amazing old-school growers out there. He and others have mentioned many times about getting the best crops in places where the fog rolls in off the ocean and covers the grow site like a blanket. They say there's a ton of nutrients that get picked up from the sea in the fog and are then delivered to the plants.... just like in aero. The last time I was out there, I went hiking in a valley that my brother had grown in years back. It was amazing to see the dense fog come over the hills off the ocean and just hug the ground and tree tops. Lookin forward to see how you make out with this brother. :smokebuds:

Yea, after millennia of rain washing the minerals and elements from our soil into the sea, the ocean holds the keys to so much of what we're after. Disease cures, mineral replenishment in soil, etc. One of the coolest things I've read about crops treated with sea solids is that pests go away. Mites... gone. Aphids... poof! Lots of great stuff that the ocean holds.

Ok, so I've been growing for a few weeks now (about 6-7) with sea solids. I'm now on a regimen of 1000ppm of sea solids and 600ppm of jacks, split in half, bringing a total EC to around 1.9. Sea solids will give a super hot EC level because of the amount of different minerals in there, but gotta keep in mind the concentration of each is super low. There's 70-90 different minerals in sea water, depending where you obtain it. Right now I use dead sea salt 'cause I have a ton of it from making ORMUS.

I started harvesting some MOB which is known for it's intense aroma that can be smelled 60+ feet away in an open field. So intense of skittles and fruity pebbles it's insane. Well, with sea solids it's most definitely stronger, the resin content is much higher for sure, and I'm going to get it lab tested to see how it fairs against other MOB that gets sent in to the lab. MOB is clone only so all of those other MOB's are testing seriously close to each other, so it gives a nice baseline to see if in fact any cannabinoid profiles are lifted higher. I know there's loads more resin than in a soil run I did in the fall.

For anyone that's not familiar with sea solids and growing, you should definitely look into it. Replenishing the minerals in soil and in hydro is extremely important. Most nutrients are going to supply you with 11-16 different minerals and elements that are thought to be the basis for which plants can grow. And sure, they can grow, but with 80+ minerals available to them they can thrive! These minerals used to be available to plants when our earth first formed, and reformed... it's also thought that the reason for so much sickness in our world is because of a lack of mineralization in our diets.

I'm totally surprised there isn't more action on this subject. At my grow shop here they told me they've talked with a dozen people about growing with sea solids, but I was the only one with the "balls" to actually do it. I was growing in 100% dead sea salt for a couple weeks. Wanted to see if there were better results mixing the two. The plants were doing great with just sea solids alone.

This is a tester I pulled of some of Wiz's gear:

That was grown it's last 4 weeks in either pure sea solids or a sea solid mixture.

I have seen ormus in grow magazines. I have to tell you, what i read sounded like witchcraft, but i am open to anything that will produce a better harvest, so far i like what i see Medicine Man. Thank you for testing this out. +rep.

Is dead sea salt the same as salt sold for saltwater aquariums? Like Instant Ocean for example? I think it says on the package it has over 30 different minerals.

this is awesome shit man!!! I been thinkin about it for a few weeks or more since you mentioned it... picked up some sea salt tonight... was wondering what you thought for concentrations for soil additive? tsp per gallon or 2 maybe to start off?

cant wait to see the results... :toke:
