New Grower Ordering advise for a 1st timer

Promix mini bales are $9, promix bx 3.8 cu ft bags are $40.
Note: plus shipping on these, since amazon does not stock them.

Man I wish I could get said mini bales of Promix. I can get it locally but the larger bales only. I don't worry about cameras at my place because I don't think they have them there. It's a family owned local nursery and they are super nice and knowledgeable. Plus, I am an avid gardener otherwise, so I am in and out for 'legitimate' supplies as well.

Eqiupment can get expensive
I would suggest not to spend a lot of money on lights/nutrients etc etc.
Maybe get a grow or two under your belt before you spend the big bucks

A lot of members on this site are having great success with these lines of nutrients and they're really cheap

thanks for the info. man, ill prolly end up getting the OF. would I be ok with the jiffy seed starting mix? or should i just pick up a bag of the light warrior?

I say either is fine to start in. Jiffy is much cheaper I'm sure.

Hi there Mr Ham,welcome to AFN
I am also very new, just six weeks into my first grow and don't by any means think I'm an expert.

But just to say I started my seed in a little jiffy pellet and then planted the seedling into soil. Then I placed her under a 325watt cfl and that's where she's stayed until now. I know that perhaps the yeild may not be as gud as with the HPS LED or T5 but IMO she is going to do me proud. The reason for the CFL was 1 cashflow and 2 I want to learn as much as I can and get a few gud grows under my belt gradually replacing and improving on the equipment.

For nutes I am using the organic biobizz grow and bloom, which r used by many and arnt overly priced. Infact they r cheap to buy really.

I live in a remote area so everything I have used to date for this grow as been ordered online from either amazon or ebay. With no problems. A lot of it even had free shipping from amazon.

Anyways just thought I'd try and help a little, take a look at my grow if u like its under Mandycheese made a whoopsie. Gud luk with the set up and happy growing.

Jiffy or Burpee are fine and cheap. Usually available at Walmart or home depot or lowes.
