I think it’s intensity mate. I am pretty sure the cobs your on about are for commercal style grows. You need height mate

This is a powerful light that is capable of wonderful yield, if you are seeing bleaching and burning on your plants obviously the light is too intense. You can dim it as this unit is dimable, you also need to have this light as high as you can, the problem will then come back as the plants grow. Do you have any images of the plants that are under this light?
