Indoor Opinion on defoliating, lollipopping etc.

i defoliate loads, if is going to shade a bud site in a week i take it off today, when it is small. Any leaves growing from the top of my horizontal branches i remove.

I wont clutter your thread but if you click on my thread here or Instagram youll have a better idea what i do ...........and what happens.

Impressive results,
goes against my gardening instinct to get rid of healthy leaves,
but I need to learn.

I've a 'photo Skunk11 I impulsively planted (alongside my late Creme mandarin Xl)
that now fills my 2'6"x4' drobe'
been vegging for eleven weeks under 315w CMH ,topped,
and at 2' high looks like a hedge in need of
weed whacking.

I chopped off a few lower branches when I put her in a 50litre fabric pot,
but I'm going to have to study your creative destruction and add some light maybe
if I'm going to hit that 1lb.

I cant recommend it enough.

I have always defoliated whether it be my big huge planta back in the day or just my little 18" sticks I grow now.

Seems illogical to do at first..hurting a plant...ripping her beautiful leaf arms off as she screams into the light, helpless.

THEN all of a sudden your plant is blowing up with growth from you taking half its fan leaves. Its a beautiful thing to watch.

Its strain dependent obviously and different types of growing will have different results. I could rip 25 fan leaves off my dwc growing plants that are 2.5-3ft tall and within 3 days it will look like I never touched them because of the growth.
