Last day home. Its gonna be a tough shift. My other 2 ladies are comming down when i get home, and these ones are just sooooo cute.... its hard to leave them.

You dirty girls... I can see your lady bits... And their purple!

Wow, so jealous when I see a Red Family strain that's going to go completely purple...I only got partial purps....(but I sure do love the smoke!!) :)

These will be a first for me!

I've had (have) plants with purple leaves, but full on purple buds is totally new. This is a straight up novelty grow. I'm not even concerned about yield, smell, taste, or stone. These ladies are purely my decorative plants. (although I know I won't be disappointed with the other aspects)

Cool! Excited for the Red Poisons I have on the way! If I see one more Red Poison grow, I'll be tempted to just throw my smurfberries into the woods and fill the whole tent with Red lol! With the specific color range of this strain, I think we should collectively declare it the strain for Christmas 2014 hah! If I pop them right away, they'd be cured enough by Christmas... right?

Well shit.
There's some rusty looking spots on some of the older leaves already. I'd take a pic, but the good camera is dead at the moment from last night's harvest. :)

I'm thinking cal-mag issues perhaps. They haven't had any molasses yet. Only problem is the sunshine mix iis holding water a little to we'll, so I can't feed them yet.

Perhaps a molasses Foilar spray?

1-2 tsp per gallon? I'll fill the bottle half full of water, and half the mix.

Good idea?

I'll post pics when I can

Hmm.. Epsom salt would help with mag but not cal. At this young stage still, I wouldn't know how much to use in a foliar, but I would probably go wayyy light, like 1/2 a teaspoon /gallon, or maybe even just a pinch. Molasses should be pretty safe with 1 or 2 tsp. I'd probably do 1 tsp. I wouldn't cut off the leaf yet, but it will probably die. The plant will still use it somewhat.

Ah yes, the salts. I was totally planning on using them, just forgot to mention it. Thanks bro, I'm on it!

Day 26

Gave the girls some of their molasses/salts spray yesterday. I'm not saying these things are related or not but they had quite the growth spurt since then. They both got a bit taller, the leaves got much wider, and all in all, they look happier. The rust spots are still there of course, but it doesn't seem to be spreading. (yet.. Fingers crossed)

I'm not very impressed with the sunshine mix. It's holding water so well that I can't bloody well feed them! I've used it in the past with no problems, but always with photos... I guess they live much longer, giving you more opertunities to feed regardless..

Anyway, here they are. You can see the spots on some of the lower growth.
