Mephisto Genetics Operation SODK x Alien

I am joining you with SODK x Alien, just dropped a seed in my over used soil.... preparing the torture tools.
Let's get growing!
wooo-hoo I finally have a growing partner haha are you dropping it in a previously used pot like the others?

Good luck. Subbed up for this.
Thank you the luck will be needed!
And by the way thank you for the tip on the htg supply airpots I'm excited to see a difference vs the regular pots but couldn't afford the super roots ones.

Yes sir,
poked a hole with a chopstick and dropped one seed in with two Tyrones that are almost read for chopping.
This will be the 3rd time using the pot with the same soil, maybe it will fail.

I will be a week behind you, show us how SODK x Alien should look.

Well good luck to you I'll be watching. And I'll do my best to grow a beast of a sour orange alien.

I'm just going to call today day two. Even though it's day three I consider it two since the seed shell was stuck the first full day. Not much to say yet jut a little baby. One thing I forgot to mention in this post is that this soil is already infected with mites. I can't get a break when it comes to soil! I don't know which kind but they're big enough to see without magnification. They're little light brown mites. So I'll find something because the D.E. Doesn't seem to affect them they just walk across it. I'll Probabably drench the soil with a peroxide mix when they get a little older. I don't want to drown them just yet.

Congrats on the little one bro, looking very cute and healthy here is lots of :karmacloud: for your girl and this grow.

Are you sure they are not Springtails in the soil and not mites as i had these once before and after a big panic session manage to ID one and found out that they are completely harmful to the grow.

Have been looking on Google at the mites you mentioned, after if they are what you think they look to be a predatory mite (good thing) they will hunt and feed on any bugs That would feed on Your plant, this paticular mite likes thrips and aphids, they will probably just starve and die Off in time. Not all mites are bad.

Well then I hope that is in fact what they are. Thanks for your help you spared me a lot of anxiety! It's hard to tell with mites though there is hundreds of them that look alike. Only time will tell though and if it is something that will hurt the plant I'll know soon enough and there is plenty of ways to kill them. I tried to give you a rep slap but it won't let me. Thanks again though
