Grow Room Onyx/Himalaya Blue Diesel Auto's - small tent

Looking great! I have a couple of Onyx that have just started. I am excited to see how this turns out.

Lovely girls, Bixit! Any chance you can gently tether or support your HBD's cola while she finishes filling out?

Thank you, DarshAK!

Best of luck to you! I have not grown many strains, but so far the Onyx is the easiest strain to grow that i have encountered.
You should estimate minimum 75-80 days from seed with the Onyx. At day 65 mine looks like it can still go 10-14 more days.

Thank you, Gin!
Well i would, but i am 99% sure she wont tip over before harvest :) Already started flushing the HBD cause i will be chopping at the very start of April.

Here is day 65
Onyx left, HBD right.

Getting close to that harvest boys! Even seeing some purps at the top of buds now.

Sadly this will be the last pictures before chop due to upcoming travels.
Will be back with more pics at the start of April when it's chopping time!

Looks GREAT! I'm looking forward to the harvest pics and smoke report. How does that Onyx smell? Mine don't even have pistils yet and they're putting out some stink!

Thanks! Yeh i cant wait to taste them "AFN smoke out"
Last few months have been nothing but shitty mid-grade hash at 25$ a gram lol :(

Oh yeah, the Onyx is a stinker once you get close enough! It has a very round and full typical Indica smell. Kind of sweet and fruity, but no bitterness to it at all. None of that cat piss smell.
And the fact that it doesn't actually smell up the tent that much makes it perfect for stealth. The HBD smells a lot more pungent and sort of fills the tent with that blueberry/diesel smell... i have to take out the Onyx to actually smell it.

HARVEST DAAAAAAY-UuuUMmmm!!!!

First sorted pics http://imgur.com/a/DDyHW
Still have to sort more and get some more shots before i upload to album on site.

Was gone for 9 days and came back just in time for the chop! Both went a total of 75 days from seed.

Total tally was around 210g wet (with stems and only rough trim).
Water usually lasts 5-6 days, and i was gone 9, so they are prolly a bit dry already.
Not expecting more than 10-15g from the HBD, and maby 15-20g from the Onyx.
Think the HBD had a lockout, because as soon as i started flushing, new shoots were coming up everywhere :p Live and learn.

I of course had to speed dry a nug in the oven to test "pher Wiggle"
Only tried the Onyx so far.
8/10 - really intense head and body rush coupled with a really euphoric feeling. Mild couchlock, not too heavy on the indica side but i could absolutely feel the stoney part :p
As for duration it had a quick onset after 5 mins, reaching the sky within 10 min. Lasted around 30-40 min and then faded over the next hour or so.
Not gonna comment on the taste or smell of a speed dried nug :p never that tasty. All i can say is this bud will be some dank ass shit once i have cured it in jars :D:D:D

Will be uploading many pics later, but now i need to get some food!
TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY.

Good work! This makes me so stoked for my Onyx. I have two distinct phenotypes...one is pumping out all kinds of stink and has sets of 8,9,10, and 11 fingered leaves. The other phenotype is a paler green with fatter leaves and is less bushy. Your report has me drooling! Congrats on a successful harvest. [emoji106]

Any more updates or smoke reports for this?

Life caught up with me after finishing the grow, but lo and behold!
I found some old pictures from this harvest!

@Rollin_along better late than never...?
