New Grower Ok, ive been debating it, but heres my 1st grow journal.

oh and canadiancon~i actually do have a bad gnat problem again, but last time i did, i just used mosquito dunks when i fed them water, and it worked miracles, they were completely eliminated within a week. it kills all their larvae, not sure if your aware of it, but a whole package of them just cost like 3 bucks (american), so its worth a shot..thanks for the tip though!

oh maybe you just need to clean your grow area if they keep coming back..once they are gone they shouldnt come back unless someone brings more in

yeah, i think its cuz ive got a window a/c unit in the room constantly going to keep my temps under control, bugs sneak in around it, and there is nothing i can do about it..oh well, ill just keep battling for now, then once my first grow is done, ill have to fig something else out. i really do appreciate your help, though. i was really freaked out my first time with these damn bugs, but now, im just glad theyre not something else like those root worms or spider mites. (knock-knock!) gnats i can deal with.

Yea gnats are in a lot of soils. Not only from getting
In the mix themselves but also most soils have little holes in the bag for
It to breathe. They love sneaking in. The girls are looking

aw shit eh ..yea gnats are just more annoying then anything wnt effect your product to much..you could just tape up around your ac make sure its sealed and put a small hepafilter over it to filter out lil bugs...sounds like youve got it pretty well under controll tho..good luck with the rest of your grow looks like theyare really healthy

yeah, thanks guys, it means alot to me. for my 1st try at growing, ive had alot of crappy obstacles, ph problems, gnats, overwatering a little at first, heat, but ill tell ya, im glad that alot of it did happen, because it makes me feel like a pro the next time it does. haha. If it ruined my girls i wouldve been real upset, but theyre still doing real well, theyre real troopers. anyhow, thanks again!
