Then it looks like we're on track. When you adjust the pH the plant will do a better job of taking in that nitrogen as well so make sure you lower that.

As far as your original concern about lights being too close. T5s are fine to get close like that as long as you have temps in check and proper air flow, a quick test with the back of your hand will be a good indicator if the T5s are too close.

Im sorry When I said low its actually showing very akaline.. Between 7.5 and 8.. I have half Miracle gro potting mix and half spaghnum peat. I dont know how accurate my Sonkir 3 in 1 meter is.. Thx for all the help

Ah, same issue really, just too high of pH.


I don't really have experience with soil so hopefully others can chime in, but I've heard Miracle Gro can be problematic if it's the kind that has concentrated nutrients released from watering.

yes it does have slo release nutes. I was hoping mixing it with half spaghnum would help. Thx for your help I appreciate it
