This is a bag seed I found in some medical i got, i'm currently holding it back and training it for a small space but when it grows into its current bucket it will get transplanetd into something huge like 5 gallons and let all the training lines free and it should do nicely.

as you will probably see one of my lovely branching that i had coming backwards back around the pot got broken off, my twist tie's that i use kinda grew into the stem and when i went to loosen it to move it down to the new growth it broke off, so I gave it a clean cut on the end and it will make 2 new tops or branhes.

This is my first LST experimental so i'm not to terribly worried about it if i over clip or train, its just a tester anyway.

Is there a point to the structure? Like lighting wise or something? Seems kind of disproportionate and not planning for new growth, are you done with the LST?

its really just an expiremental plant, i hear so much about lst and growing in sea of green and scroging that i wanted to try out some of it for myself, up until now i've just be bending to one side and then trying to get the top branches to bend back around to cover most of the top of the pot that its in, its going on 2 months old so I think that I'll let it grow into the current pot and then transplant and stop with the training, release any holds or binds i might have and let it go.

I really have no idea how its going to turn out, maybe i stressed it too much and it might end up male or hermi. i don't know until i finish its life cycle

I did find that I had to clip out some of the dominte sun leaves that were shadowing the inner part of the plants where i hope to get lots of bush from and maybe a few colas

Good way to learn, read & then put that info to work & testing the boundries. Good job so far man. If may suggest a few things. 1) wait til you sex her, that way its not a waste of time for you. B) don't untie her, you got her where ya want her now let her grow into that form. Now these are my oppinoins from what I've read & have put to use. I'm on my 3rd lst grow & the 1st was by accident, I had an auto that forgot to auto & had gotten 47" tall. Here's a few pics of her & a hindu kush plant from seeed & a ex cheese from clone (that's why she looks weird.

my concern for waiting until sexing is that the veg time is extended, granted this plant has vegged longer than i would like it to but its just a test job. does training while flowering stress the plant and affect bud productions? I've also seen that about 2-3 weeks before harvest you crack the plant over and the buds above the bend are enormous compared to others not trained in the same fashion.

You are doing exactly the kind of training that I want to do, lots of colas and short node spacing. reps on the led grow too :bong: I want to be 75-80% led in a year. some nice looking plants you have there the last one, how tall was that?

Thanx kk &Kudo, she was 47" tall when I bent her over. Logic tells me that low stress tranning (lst) is stressful & could be detrimental to bud production. I do it all at the begining of flowering tho & expierence has tought me that the yields go up. I started one tonite, she was 5" taller than her sister & I wanted to top her & lst. What I did was little more than lst this time, I bent her pretty good. Never crimped her but defenitly broke fibers loose, tied her down & faced her away from the lite in order to gently persuade the branches to stand up. Few hours should be enough & any missfitts will be tied or cut.

here is an update on my lst tester experiment. i've seen some of the amazing things that can be done with lsting. I'm going to put it into the flower room tonight just because its over 2 months old and its about time to see the sex.

ended up being male

oh well it got cut down, from being male, there are lots of things that couldve made it go male, one my using miracle grow potting soil on this one (its the only stuff i had around), possibly my over training and cliping might have stressed it too much and forced it to go male. It was also a hermi oops seed that came out of a multi plant flowering room so the chances of that are high
